The last flight out of FAO on Monday, the BA511 departing 1945 is now a 777 (unsure whether 200 or 300). If you've had to cut your holiday short there is a chance you might get to travel home in Flub as a silver lining.
All the rest are, predictably, A321neos.

I think this is an additional flight added for Sunday and Monday. Expertflyer has the seat map as a A321neo for Sunday when you click through but Monday loads as a 3 class ying-yang config (LGW I think with WT+ sold as biz so pick row 1-4!)

Looks to be configured 32J/48W/252Y so YMMB/C/D/E or F, the latter three being currently based at LHR.

At this rate, it'll be worth BA reconfiguring a few 77W's into an all-economy, 550-seat setup, to serve as quarantine rescue aircraft.

Lisbon Tests
Am currently in Lisbon - coming back on tonight’s BA503.
Tests are readily available from most pharmacies - €21 a pop with a full fit to fly certificate. We went to ‘Farmacia Duque Saldanha’ yesterday and were in and out in 15 minutes.
So yes, the BBC article quoting tests at €300 a pop and people struggling baffles me - rapid antigen tests are allowed and most pharmacies offer them.

Not surprisingly it looks like the new regional flights are being chopped, we were due to go out to Faro from Manchester on the 12th returning on the 19th and the return has just been cancelled. Not that we were going but a refund over a voucher is always nice.

My 92 year old mum flew out yesterday from London to faro. Flight half full but she noted faro airport quite quiet no sign of chaos,of course she only saw the arrival hall. Got stranded without a wheelchair due to large amounts of elderly wheelchair users.

Initially when we arrived in the taxi it looked very busy but it was people queuing for covid tests outside at a pop up facility.
We were checked in within 15mins at the Club desks. Security again looked busy but fast track was available so through within 10 mins. Passport control was only about 5 mins. So 30 mins from curb to departures.
