List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Here’s hoping for that to be true🤞🏾
Awesome, might have to fit a day or two north of the border in. Are we expecting it to get rammed to the rafters with FT'ers with itchy feet once confirmed??

I wouldn't be surprised if a large amount of the CX T3 lounges' turnover came from x-charges to BA pax, and some Finnair users as the default lounges for AY. But I don't think there would be a critical mass of flights/pax in T3 anytime soon to make this equation work, even if CX considered this as a potential opportunity.

@ENTP - I hit like as I think you're dead right, but I'm not sure 'like' is quite the right word. Missing the dan dan noodles....

Theres a lounge open for all flights. That late in the day Galleries Club will most likely be closed and all lounge passengers directed to Galleries First.

Just searched, and last JFK mention was 29/05. Any word on whether it will be open by 6 July? Flying J to LHR, and a bit stunning that there's no alternative given the route. BA want you to pay premium prices but not offer premium benefits.

The JFK and other US lounges will only reopen when travel is more freely possible between the UK and the US (ie. Presidential Proclamation lifted and UK Green List status). Even then, reopenings are not guaranteed straight away.

With flights to Reykjavik restarting on 22nd June 3x weekly, does anyone know whether the Icelandair lounge will be available to BA passengers as pre-Covid, or will it go the way of many outstation lounges? That would be disappointing given that the Oneworld site currently shows American and Finnair passengers are currently welcome. I am hoping that the site has not been updated since BA are not yet flying to that destination.

There's a lot of contract lounges where even Iberia are still allowed access but BA have suspended their contract, so there's definitely no guarantee that just because another oneworld airline offers it BA will do.

I remember reading BA were going to start renewing some of the contracts around now so you might get lucky. However with the drop in demand BA have had to look at every option to reduce costs.

Here is a rather extreme visualisation of this happening at one lounge on the European mainland. At least they obviously think BA will be back before too long.

The BHD lounge reopened yesterday - however, with the sad news of Stobart Air (operator of Aer Lingus Regional) going under this morning, I wonder how long that will last...

Weird, you would think that IAG would have a shared function for contracts, not at an individual airline level. Surely a shared service / group function could handle this better.

I have to wonder whether it was an explicit condition of QR taking out the lounge contract that they be put at the top on their own

Definitely individual. Iberia has renegotiated a contract with a 3rd party lounge in Mex. BA has not. There again, BA actually refunds cancelled tickets, Iberia just make it impossible to speak to anyone at all.
