List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

I think this reflects pent up demand. People willing to pay for club on a 1 hour flight despite no lounge. It surely can’t last.

You know most of those people aren't paying themselves for the ticket, right? It's OPM and mostly thanks to corporate contracts that allow for business class travel. So yes, it actually can last.

That’s a good saving for BA then. Don’t bother reopening access to lounges (especially outstation), as the business cabins will fill themselves regardless?
I was actually under the impression that currently the weighting has shifted more towards leisure travel and such customers will choose based on added extras such as lounges. I know I certainly would.

It's just strange, Our flight was half of Club. The business is there yet no lounge. They are also using the Ryanair pier so it's a bit of a trek. Maybe Sean Doyle needs to travel home to see how to start making his Airline more premium.
Just as a data point (even if a little off topic), did anybody query your reason for travelling out of Ireland when going through Dublin?

I'm sure there is more leisure Club travel than before, but still during the pandemic most of the people I'm sat next to in Club are on business. Ditto for when I'm on AF or KL, etc.

And note that I'm not arguing against opening the lounges! I really hope they open most all lounges this summer.

No, We dropped off our hire car at the off-station car park as only T2 gold returns was open, and flying from T1 would have meant a long walk. The police on the approach road was waving everyone through. Looked so bored the poor guy.
Then for some reason, no one has told the police that fast track is still open as they were at main security but we used fast track.

Perhaps it's more a case of assuming that those eligible to use fast track tend to be business travellers (excluding the premium leisure market of course) so a lower chance of nabbing people trying to skirt the rules?

I am afraid it is yes. There are no vouchers given at any of the domestic outstations despite all having closed lounges.

I think this will need to change soon, at least for those regionals airports that have a Galleries. They can’t have full flights to/from LHR, where the T5 lounges are almost back to normal, but not acknowledge the other end,

I believe GLA, ABZ, and EDI lounges should reopen possibly in July.

For MAN and NCL the lounges have been permanently closed. No suggestion from BA for well over a year that they even care I am afraid, never mind that they will actually do something. Whilst we are well informed on FT about this, it seems BA still can't be bothered communicating directly with those who may regularly travel from those places, if only to acknowledge the loss of the lounges.

Even more telling that the NCL lounge still has all of the branding outside and a notice saying the lounge is closed until further notice (nothing about a permanent closure).

I wonder what the passenger volumes are like for the Scottish routes v NCL/MAN....ie what drove perm closures of some and not others.
