List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Lots of disgruntled silver, gold and business class passenger turned away this morning. Shameful decision by BA.

Funnily enough I was looking at LBA-BHD on the new service.
EasyJet have launched LBA-BFS, and the timings to come back with U2 are far better than BA (17:00 on U2 vs 08:40 on BA), it sounds silly but lounge access would have swayed it to BA with little hesitation as it would have allowed me to grab some breakfast etc at that early hour. Now I'm contemplating U2 as it means more time in Belfast (and no early wake up).

The BHD lounge is now a third party lounge operated by Aspire, so the lack of access for BA customers is purely down to BA not having restarted the contract yet (as is the case with many third party lounges). The discount Aspire are offering BA premium customers is almost certainly their own commercial decision and not connected with BA.

Aspire were accepting passengers earlier in the week though! Then changed, so a case of BA contracting then cancelling?

Much more likely a mistake on Aspire's part to accept BA passengers.

I would just like to make clear my actions in the lounge are in no way related to Aspire now refusing BA passengers

You really shouldn’t have left that bag of “off” sausages in the lounge ….

I understand this for outstations/destinations on the amber/red lists, but this is domestic lounge with up to 6 BA flights to London per day which seems to have pretty good loads. The effect is to penalise returning customers which doesnt seem very sensible, in very simplistic terms.

not only the LHR flights now, also the new BACF ones to the regions too.

EDIT: the ba sign has gone

Hopefully it is only in storage rather than the dustbin!

Since March last year BA have permanently closed three domestic lounges (BHD, MAN and NCL). I could be wrong, but I don't think they have offered alternative access at MAN or NCL. As far as I am aware the BA domestic lounges in Scotland are currently temporarily closed with no alternative lounge access provided. Had BHD still been a BA lounge it would undoubtedly be closed at the moment.

From a domestic point of view, BA only seem to be providing lounge access in London. I am hoping that once things get closer to normality again that they will once again provide lounge access, although there is a nagging fear that they might look towards the American Airlines model where they don't provide lounge access for domestic flights.

The lack of Scottish lounges is becoming a bit of a first world nuisance- I tend to book the plane up and then the train back down.
