OP, you may wish to review this thread:
How much extra is Club Europe worth?
It may help you to make an informed decision The CE service and the basic J lounge may not be up to your expectations.

Would highly recommend a weekend in Madrid flying the following :
Friday: LHR - MAD Iberia A346/330/350 1845-2205
Sunday : MAD - LHR BA B777 1815-1940
Both flights in Long haul flat bed business class with full lounge access both ends for the whole experience.
Might not be the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive !

I’d second SOF. Long enough to enjoy the service. As one of the longer ones you will get a menu and a blanket.
It’s also very cheap when you are there, both in terms of hotels and eating/drinking, so the extra you may spend on a AMS/LUX fare would easily be made up. Consider doing as a BA holiday and if not in a rush, wait until the next sale.
I know you mention TP are not a concern, but as you already have 100 and a longer route like SOF would earn 160 then you are in touching distance of Bronze. And heck, half way to silver.

We just did the 777/340 'double' and had a fun time doing it for the experience. We also had two legs on Iberia narrowbodies up front and well, the experience was fine but different.
If you want to experience the 'real' business class seats and lounge access, then do the widebodies as they were far more comfortable and felt far more luxe and like a real trip than the narrowbodies, which just had the extra seat blocked and a crew that rather hastily slung some trays of food at us (Iberia service, though. BA may be different). Iberia lounge was ok - better the second time through. We had excellent crew service on both, and the BA crew kept the drinks topped up and flowing.
If you want to experience a nicer lounge time and longer flight time to a cheaper destination - then pick something others have suggested with better LHR lounge access. This was our first time in T5 Galleries North and oh lord, it was like being in something between a train waiting room and a daycare (lots of babes-in-arms/strollers). Having only previously done CCR, the Mr was really disappointed

You must surely have gone to a different lounge than that lauded by BA as one of the benefits of travelling club europe / business class .......... the lounge with “calm and tranquil surroundings” ......where “ quiet time before your flight will be time well spent”
