I’m a big fan of the Speedbird, a tasty drop indeed but the cans on EBay for £13.99 is quite frankly a f#*kin joke !!

Tried both the Aircraft and Speedbird options last night.

Aircraft = vile! Far too intense citrus notes for me. Had to send most of it back, since I couldn't drink it.

Speedbird = ok, nothing special really. Quite typical of BrewDog, but that would be expected. I only had the one since I do not drink too much on a flight and had a glass of fizz on boarding.

Also in T3 GC lounge on Friday, only went in the BA lounge to see if they had it, quite enjoyed it.

Had a couple of free cans in ET back from FCO to LCY this afternoon.
Very drinkable.

I felt the same about it. But when I posted about it (post #157 above) at the time I seem to get the feeling that people thought I didn't appreciate good beer ... good to know now that I'm not alone!

You're not, but careful of upsetting the Brewdog Cultists.

I think AirCraft is a pretty “out there” beer to stick into First and fair play to BA and Brewdog for doing something interesting. I 100% agree that it won’t be to everyone’s taste; I did wonder if a brief description on the menu might help - it’s unlikely to appeal to a devoted lager drinker for example, but may peak the interest of someone who likes a natural wine.

I like it but I like sour/ wild yeast/ Brett style beers and I’m an unashamed member of the Cult of Brewdog too so it’s perfect for me.

Yep, we're almost as tetchy as BA Cultists.

Tons of cans of Speedbird in EDI but zero every time I have been through T5 lounges since the announcement. What gives?

Hopefully they will have some on this flight to Shanghai.
