British Airways has revealed the configuration for its Airbus A350-1000 (56J 56W 219Y):
  • 56 business class featuring all-new Club Suites
  • 56 premium economy
  • 219 economy
  • (BA maintains that no A350s will have first class)
Familiarisation flights to Madrid (starts August 6th):
First A350 flights have also been revealed:
  • 02 to 06 Sep, 09 to 30 Sep, and from 08 Oct 2019 daily to Dubai (DXB) - BA107/106
  • from 01 Oct 2019, daily to Toronto (YYZ) - BA92/93
  • from 01 Dec 2019, daily to Tel Aviv (TLV) - BA163/162
  • from 01 Jan 2020, daily to Bangalore (BLR) - BA119/118
  • from 01 Mar 2020, double daily to Dubai (DXB) - BA107/106 & BA105/104

The BA team are headed to Toulouse this morning to pick up G-XWBA for tomorrow.

Delivery was cancelled for today due to the ATC problems.

New ETD from TLS for G-XWBA is 1130Z tomorrow (27th July).

Yes, G-XWBA is heading from Toulouse tomorrow at 11:30AM. BA Team staying an extra day. Some trying out the new club suite seat in the mean time!

As cost cutting is in their DNA, are the BA team sleeping in the Club Suites to save on hotel costs?!

Ah, if only BA had waited a little longer... the new Ikea catalogue just landed, page 31 reveals its new 'Tôfēnäsa' first class suite. Comes in choice of natural woods, with matching throw-rugs for cosying up overnight flights. Flat-packed, assembly required.

G-XWBA has left TLS as BA9151 and, according to FR24, is heading for Chateauroux first.

Just departed CHR as BA9152, but seems to be doing a circuit to land there again!
