Well, wherever this came from, I hope they still have some of the London views cups which I liked a lot! (I'm not a mug person and those cups were really special!)

LCY-EDI this afternoon, Muslim afternoon tea which was very disappointing, bland and uninteresting. Some pretty plain chicken pieces in mini pitta bread and the desert was VERY sweet to the point I left half of it. The plain bread roll was a bizarre addition to the tray too, served no real purpose.

BA8759 LCY - BCN

Afternoon flight and offering was a kind of tapas plate. Pretty meagre fare - hard to figure out exactly what the pot of sauce contained and the rest was so-so. But champagne refills (regular N/V Castelnau) appeared proactively and I managed to tough it out to BCN.

Regards, PR

The starter is gazpacho mousse (although really it's more like a gel)

Great looking HOT brekkie above GLA-LHR, looks very nice for a quick hop.

Would anyone kindly know please what meal to expect in Club Europe LCY - FRA on a 15:45 departure on 13 DEC >?

I am then connecting on to Condor FRA-MLE Maldives at 20:00 in their new A330Neo Business Prime Seat which looks awesome (Fare was just 1545 o/w)

Also I wonder if BA will check my bags through to MLE >?

I'm going this trip was via LCY as I'm using Avios CE Reward which is 0.50p (LOL Cheapskate!) and back home on Virgin Upper Class MLE-LHR on Flying Club Miles.

I've been pointed here to ask please, would anyone kindly know what meal to expect in Club Europe LCY - FRA on a 15:45 departure on 13 DEC >?

I am then connecting on to Condor FRA-MLE Maldives at 20:00 in their new A330Neo Business Prime Seat which looks awesome (Fare was just 1545 o/w)

To answer your other question although there is probably a more appropriate place to move this too! You aren't connecting, you are travelling on two seperate trips. BA won't check to Condor and neither airline is obliged to help you if something goes wrong. BA certainly wouldn't and I'm pretty sure Condor wouldn't either or at least not at a low cost . This timing would be way below my risk threshold let alone on a winter day out of LCY when fog / low cloud is not uncommon.

Good news is your Avios ticket is flexible so I'd have a rethink on the plan personally and try to build in more of a buffer

Many thanks indeed, yes I realise the connex time at FRA is less than 3 hours and I will more than likely have to claim my bag at FRA and recheck-in again with Condor.
I am having a total rethink on this as everything I have booked is changeable/refundable.

There is a seat left in W on Virgin FC rewards on the LHR-MLE non-stop so that is an option for the outbound.

Thanks to you all.

in my experience, MOML is never very good on ba - ksml is a lot better and more generous. Of course, there is a theoretical risk that ksml might include alcohol (eg wine based sauce) but in my experience thats never been the case and everything else in a ksml meal would be compatible with halal requirements as far as I know (the contrary is not true) so my sense is that people who keep halal may in fact often be better off ordering ksml.

Indeed KSML has a
very high % it will be lox/lax/salmon for fish
very high % it will be something with fruit/vegtable = kosher parve
very high % poultry that one knows: chicken or duck

KSML beef is trickier because of avoidance of dairy combination + time lapse in between

BUT big BUT,
it all depends on the herscher / caterer.... as long as BA has Hermolis,
all is good in Kosher catering and taste ...
but there are some out there that make a frozen TV dinner look like 3* Michielin
