Well having suffered a sever dose of FOMO I've decided to join the party again on BA's Birthday! couldn't resist! BA460 out tomorrow and Back on the 465 so a bit of airport shopping and lounging in MAD - book reading and catching up on box sets! And yum - can almost taste those mushrooms already! All in Economy on that very nice £90 return tix. Will hopefully see a few of you in the F'lounge!

The 25th Aug. flights MADness...
7 flights, 28 FTers in total over the day travelling on these routes, 21 on the 465 PARTY PLANE, 8 on the Pre-Party Plane, 100 years of BA celebration....
Tomorrow is the day....not too late to join in...ET seats for less than £100 return potentially...

EDIT: I look forward to the banter tomorrow about the activity (both from BA and our FTers)...Is everyone prepared?

Well I’ve snagged 1K for the Pre-Party Plane tomorrow on 464, and a kind gentlemen is taking me to Galleries First from around 1230. Shame I cant join in on the 465 but have to be in Madrid Sunday night!
The last Party Plane I was on got cancelled so maybe a good thing for everyone else I’m not on 465.

Had a great day at the BA lounge Twickenham thanks to the bar tender who kept saying BA Amex = free drink, I hope you don’t get into trouble.
I can guest one into gallery’s tomorrow but also looking for one spot into the F lounge.
Great start to the 100 year birthday.

By complete coincidence, I’ve booked myself on the 456 tomorrow! Bagged a seat in the 2nd Club mini-cabin. See you all tomorrow!
Will there be any “surprises” tomorrow for the official centenary day? If so I may head to Heathrow a bit early!

Just booked the 456 tomorrow...coming into MAD on the 777 operated 460. Initially was not bothered about the 351 and club suite but curiosity has got the better of me! 15K out and 3A back.

About 45 mins ago, I get a text from my Mum asking when I am going to Madrid and if she can come along...so like a good son have booked her onto the same flights and got another room at the Marriott. I don't get to see her very often and will soon move 200 miles away down to Cornwall so now the trip has real purpose
BA website failed at payment so killed two birds with getting it booked via phone and getting seat requests for Mum in.
