Likewise.. did you not at least get WT+ on the 777. Seems to be a few empty seats on there not sure what the criteria is for them but if you haven’t ask at check in.

Its the same as my 1K, due to bassinet. When they unblock, BA still wouldn’t let me select.

The solution, courtesy of another member, is use RJ website (Royal Jordanian) and then select seat there. Allowed me to select 1K.

Don’t worry I had the same confused look. Why you have to use RJ to select BA seats? BA IT at its finest.

Can’t wait for the 464!

On my way to T5 for the 464! Someone is kindly guesting me in to GF lounge. Can’t wait to meet you all there. 😃

Is no one else returning on the 465 tomorrow (Monday) night. Or is it just me pushing it to the wire on a bank holiday weekend. 😬

No. The A350 have two sets of cabin crew on. One operates outbound, the other inbound. The crew not working use WTP reserved for themselves. You are of course allowed to go in there and have a look. The crew very happy to chat to you, but not opened to selectable seats. I spent a good hour in there chatting to a few and looking at WTP last time.

Great crew on 456/457 today. They even had a look around for the High Life covers I was after.

OCTOBER A350 Flights

Just heard from a very knowledgeable cabin crew member that these October flights are going to be canned. They have other plans now.

Of course the cabin crew could be wrong, but as always with the A350, book a refundable Avios booking if at all possible.

Base Camp Velázquez

I’ve set up camp inside the Sala Velázquez. Turn left out of the reception, head for the black seats at the far corner. Sliced mushrooms and tortilla will be waiting

In the Velazques too. In the right corner in black polo shirt, and agree, a bit hot here. There's gin in this end, but no tonic, so have to trek all the way to the other side every now and then.

Gin Mare now replenished, but still no sign of tonic. All kind of different flavours in the fridge - tried with ginger ale, but will make a trek to the far end next time.
