Here is a guide as to the best and worst seats in First, Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller on the Boeing 777 (all variants). Please ask your questions here, and hopefully someone will be able to help!

The following triple-seven seat maps have been prepared for quick comparison and reference.

77H best CWS seats & missing windows

Optimistically booked to spend Thanksgiving in NYC, and it'll be my first experience of flying the new CW suites.

According to BA MMB we're flying out on a 77W, has a front cabin with rows 5-7, next cabin is showing rows 8-18 with only 2 middle seats at row 18. We're flying back on a 777 (again, according to MMB) with rows 5-8 in the front cabin but only 8K in row 8.

Daytime flights both ways, so we both want window seats, guessing the front cabin will be quieter, but confused about the missing windows. Looking at BA Source this seems to be the 77W, but it seems to show missing windows both at row 7 *and* 5. Has anyone flown this config and can confirm? Coming back on the 777 it looks like on BA Source that maybe one window at row 7 is missing.

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, looked in the CW Seating but the last post was back in August last year

As far as I'm aware, all Club Suite window seats have at least 1 window. Some may have 2 or 1.5 windows due to misalignment. The BA source is overstating its labelling by saying there is no view at those seats as there is at least one window at those particular seats.

Curious - if you had a choice between the J suite on a 77H or a J seat on a 789, which would you pick?

Given the 789s don't have Club Suite yet definitely 77H. (Unless you're a fan of the yin-yang layout....)

Flying to Miami in May on 207/206 in F - I presume this is a 200ER .... which E/F pair would you recommend for this - 1, 2 or 4 ?

I have flights booked between SAN and LHR in F for mid June in the hopes that vaccinations lead to the resumption of travel and also the SAN route. I have 2K assigned in both directions on a 777-300. I’m AA Platinum Pro and sometime in March, that level will be elevated from OWS to OWE. That opens up access to 1A/K. I plan on sticking with 2K on the overnight flight to give a little separation from the galley in the hope that I sleep. On the return flight which is a daytime flight, both 1A and K are currently available. Stick with 2K, or twist and opt for 1A, or 1K?

Stick with 2K as it's further from the galley - but if you do fancy Row 1, make it 1K rather than 1A as foot traffic is quieter on the starboard side of the aircraft, and there's a better view of London when coming in from the East.

Thank you for the feedback. I usually opt for the K side of an aircraft as you say, the foot traffic is quieter. I might then opt for 1K on the day flight, just because I can!

77L timeline

Hello all. I just booked a flight on LAS-LHR for November. The seatmap is showing the new CWS config with 48 seats. I see that there is only one aircraft completed though (YMMI). How many are currently being converted and what is the timeline? Should I not get my hopes up that I will actually get the new CWS? Thanks for your feedback.

hi everyone

does anyone have any experience of the WT twin seats on a 777-300 (rows 50-53 although only to 52 on right side).

any issues with an of these or missing windows?? i think this is a new-ish config as there is so little information on a 777-300 upto row 53

There are no issues with windows or reclining with these seats.

Welcome to Flyertalk and welcome to the BA forum Leanne Clark. These seats are fine from recline and window point of view, the big downside is that they can be noisy, both from the turbines and the amount of traffic to the galley and WCs at the back of the cabin. The other issue to bear in mind is that fleet changes are happening at a huge rate at the moment, so I wouldn't assume that a particular aircraft type is going to be assured.

Apologies if I have missed the post, but what J seats are recommended on a refurbished 3 class 777-200 with Club Suites. We are a family of 4 and my 10 year olds are fine watching movies / gaming / sleeping on long haul flights so don't need close supervision. I fancy a window seat and a view so I was planning to take A / E / F / K seats across the cabin with the kids in the middle. I currently have row 2 booked. Any reason to change that beyond perhaps moving a couple of rows closer to door 2 for easier disembarkation?
