I'm sure most people are aware that the fare -- as we know it at its small but perfectly formed £232 price point -- has been pulled, as per discussion on the other thread.

Good while it lasted, eh?

Wonder what the impact of the reduced number of FTers travelling to TLL will be on Tallinn?

Reduced demand at the Ülemiste, Hilton and other hotels, bars and restaurants in general?

Hi all

Bit off topic but for those of you who have flown this route, do NORRA (HEL-TLL) enforce the hand baggage rules at the gate? (I have horrible visions of Norwegian Air style scales...)

I have seen various different rules about hand baggage weight in various different places. Got an email saying 15kg, saw 10kg somewhere and on the app it says 8kg maximum (to include both a cabin bag and personal item).

Any views? I could be cautious and stick with 8kg but may struggle.

When I did it they weren't checking hand baggage weights. Just be aware that any larger roller cases will have to go under the seat and you'll only fit one under the seat pair.

I have never seen them weigh a bag at the gate. Some reports of weighing carry on bags at check in, but if you are not checking a bag that is not an issue.

Tbh on the ATR the bigger problem is size rather than weight. The ATR overheads do not take a bag which would be right at the limit of the normal BA size limits.

Never been checked, so I wouldn't worry too much.

You can still go to TLL, if you wish so, for a decent price:

I recently booked LHR-HEL-TLL-LHR-BHD for £417 (180TP, £2.31/TP). You can add any domestic flight for not too much and you can also have the A350 both ways (LHR-HEL-TLL-HEL-LHR) for £492 (200TP, £2.46/TP), albeit on AY codes both ways.
