Only MF non CSMs were eligible to vote not all cabin crew. The turn out is nowhere near as low as you think it is. What is more important is that only 1200 or so voted to strike. With nearly 15000 cabin crew BA will not be concerned at this.
For the other crew, the legacy crew this is a boon. BA will see that having 3 separate and distinct cabin groupings means that no single group of crew can hold them to ransom. WW and EF were just given a life extension by their less well remunerated colleagues.
As to the efficacy of a MF strike, I have grave doubts. BA will be bothered but they have the resources and the will to starve the strike out. After all what resources in terms of savings can those living on such low wages have? Most MF will simply not be able to afford the loss of salary a prolonged strike would require.
I sympathise greatly with my MF colleagues but I suspect this protest vote will not lead to anything like successful industrial action.

Do you think that BA might resume intakes into WW and EF to keep these fleets going?

Is there any source for a strike being announced? Or details of any such strike?
The BBC News article only says that the vote has been in favour of strike action - but we already knew that from about half an hour ago on the main thread: MF to be balloted on strike action?

This is going to be a major pain in the back and will undoubtedly affect my travel, but for the record, as far as I am concerned, they are absolutely right.

BBC report "The dispute concerns about 4,000 staff who have joined the airline since 2010 on "Mixed Fleet" contracts, who do not feel they are paid enough."
