Reminds me of the speaker who kept on referring to his first wife. And then explained that she was there, sitting in the front row; they'd been married for 30 years and were still married; but he liked to say that to keep her on her toes.

I once got a disciplinary warning from my US boss... out on a social dinner with our Australian office people and partners, we were having a very convivial time with good food, wine and company.

At one point I referred to the current Mr W, and one lady asked "Oh - how many husbands have you had?".

Never being one to let truth get in the way of a good line, I replied with "You mean - apart from my own?"

Cue guffaws all round (except boss) as the Aussies loved the quip.

I got a formal warning about this inappropriate behaviour the following day...

Outrageous!

In isolation, this looks like a misuse of the system.

It's a good thing I don't work for your boss Windowontheaisle, i'd have been sacked by now.

I was sorely tempted to go back to Milan, but my feet are more sorely,
So will give them a rest for a week,
Should have worn hiking boots and socks!!
But , come on , it's Milan , the centre of fashion, one has standards to keep, feet come and go!

You might want to consider leaving your vehicle at Hatton Cross Tube Station car park. If I recall correctly, it's only GBP5 for the day at weekends.

I'm always open to alternative cheaper options, but, I have no idea where HATTONS CROSS TUBE STATION is , or how I would get into term5 from there..

You'd take the Piccadilly line or I'm pretty sure there are a few buses.
