A318, known as the babybus. BA have two which are used on the LCY-JFK service. The photo was taken at SNN where the A318 stops on the way from LCY to JFK.

I thought that is what it was, but I couldn't think of where a 380 and 318 would end up nose to nose.

Thanks to the posters above for setting me straight.

I presume that the 380 must have made an unscheduled stop at SNN?

I think it was a PR stunt.

BA shorthaul planes are easy to identify

No* overwing exit - A318
One overwing exit - A319
Two overwing exit - A320
Exit before and after wing - A321

However I often mix up A321, 767 and 777 when viewed isolated and side on. MAN throws up some interesting alternate types too

* Yes yes it's hidden

I think this was before the A380 entered commercial service so the stop in SNN was part of a training flight.

Right, onto a more serious matter than BA, flying or security etc.

Am I dreaming or are Brazil actually getting beat 5-0

I thought the security staff at the court house (it was about 1P here) were just teasing me! Nope, it was 5-1 then!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I had this perfect wknd planned. Good, long and lazy lunch with friends then drinks, then home to watch the semi finals. First part went great. Come home and yes you guessed it, my cable is down. Call the company it has something to do with the wiring and they can't come before Wednesday.

Planned a nice Sunday in the country then home to watch the final game.

Woke up to a rainy Sunday and still no cable.

When it comes to angry women, from a man's point of view it is not cutting your head off that you worry about!
