vuvuzelas everywhere. My friends are going to the game and I'm heading for Ferrymans in the Waterfront ^

Cold? Rain? This is how a Swedish summer can look like, I'm used to this

I guess decisions like that was the reason which made monsieur Le Guen extremely popular at Ibrox!

Welcome to Cape Town, Lobengula!

How did you get to Ferryman's? Given the state of traffic I wouldn't even try from here even though it's less than a mile away. At least you would have been warm and dry - and I'm sure even Swedes prefer that.

I have to go to Jo'burg on Thursday and it's a match day. The fact that the match is in Soccer City is no consolation: I am told that Sandton suffers gridlock from the fans flocking to the fan park. Will be trying the Gautrain for the first time and possibly even a bus in Sandton! Could be interesting - I haven't used a bus in SA in decades.

I'm in Amsterdam and the town was fully done up in Orange yesterday. Thank God they won! Happiness all over town and beer sales through the roof.

Looking forward to Portugal - Ivory Coast today. Will Drogba play?

This must be the fastest that I've ever lost interest in a World Cup. The standard of football has been atrocious.

And those Vuvuzelas are doing my swede in.

Agreed...it has been poor so far. Hopefully the Brazilians will turn it on.

A procession of dull draws. The only vaguely entertaining match so far has been Germany-Australia.

I hope so! Also looking forward to seeing the unoffical DRPK fan club, run by the bloke who took me there about 5 years ago.

I got a funny feeling about North Korea, Brazil will not find it as easy as people think.

Do not underestimate the power of the dear leader who has given the team some vital tactical advice.

Hi,

Is that "tactical" as in " tactical nuclear " devices?

One of my colleagues picked North Korea in the office sweepstake ( I picked Slovakia)

Hmmm.. North Korea are looking positive so far (half time) and Brazil are looking positively ordinary.
