ETA: the downloadable fleet list also says 2000 and Rockwell Colins for the LGW-based 4-class planes. I think the table in the wiki may be mistaken.

Great work on the thread and guide!
Apologies, I managed to mis-copy and mis-paste from one table to another! Thank you for pointing this out, sorry for the confusion it caused.

Anything better than 2K and 3K for a couple who probably will sleep most of the time?
2 F is still open but the idea of both of us with window seats sounds more exciting for this once in a lifetime crossing in F.

If you don't mind not sitting side by side these are the two seats I would have chosen.

Great info here, thanks. Can I please ask three questions:

- Travelling in First: LHR to the US on an afternoon flight: I have been allocated 1K which seems OK; I would have liked 2K but it's taken...not much other choice but is this an OK seat for a day flight on the 777-300?

- Travelling in First: overnight from the US back to LHR: this time on one of the planes with only Row 1 and 2 down the left hand side (assuming they don't swap equipment)...I was originally allocated 1K again, but switched out of it for 3A instead: good choice?

- Travelling from LGW to Mauritius, in Club as a couple with a baby...so we will be middle E/F seats at the back with direct aisle access for the bassinet....I have put in the mini-cabin (two rows) not the main cabin (four rows): that's better, right?

Yes it's ok, the -300 is good as the loos are at the back.

Not sure what aircraft you are describing but either seat is fine but I prefer seats on th RHS.

The front cabin might be better as there could be other babies on the other side of the bulkhead in the smaller cabin.

plus mini cabin seemed nicer for peace & quiet otherwise and better service 9like 747 UD) but I might be wrong about that...

Sorry, on my second point I meant the flight is one of aircraft with only Row 1 and 2 on the K side of the plane...2K is taken, so my choices are 1K or 3A - I think 3A because I don't want light & noise from the galley in 1K on a night flight, but if it stays on this equipment won't the K side be quieter with fewer seats down that side?
