As mentioned above, it will be extremely hard to find 4 seats on the same flight, let alone Business. I cannot find any availability, not even for 1 seat, on any flight, including connections. But on 12JAN and almost every day after that I could find 4 seats in Economy.

NYC

I know it's a ridiculous long shot but is there anything reasonable for LON-NYC going out about 4th May 2011 and back 14th May 2011?

Also, quick question but would LON-NYC (Stopover)- MBJ-NYC-LON be permitted?

Many Thanks in advance!

How many people for?
Which class is reasonable :)?

Outbound on the 4th:
CO029 London(LHR) New York(EWR) 10:25 13:15 777
With 1 business seat, but nothing on the way back except an economy seat so you may have to go indirect.

Reasonable yes and quite allowable

So does anyone know for sure if it is a valid routing US-Australia via the Far East if there is no direct flight between the US and the final destination city? Or do you think they will make me split the booking into 2 awards?

I would call the ICC and see what happens, but your alternative routing is over 50 % longer than the most direct one.

Many Thanks Little Voices. Going indirect isn't a problem so I reckon I'll give the ICC a call to see what's available.

Hey there

Wanted to ask if anybody (my dear mr. betsy? ;) ) could be so kind as to check something for me as i somehow can't do it myself :td: :td: :td:

i'd want to know the availability for 2 seats in C on VIE - LAX. i don't care where i stop in between but LX via zurich would be spledid if it's possible.

date-wise ... i'd need 2 weeks in 2011. probably feb/mar, i don't really care when as long as i am max. 14 days away. :)

thanks,
flo

availabilty LX F VCE or FCO to BOS?

I somewhat messed up our best-laid holiday plans..and wonder whether FTers can help us out.

We're planning a family trip from BOS to Europe next April/May. We're visiting Rome/Venice/UK/Paris. I bagged our return flight already, and was pleased I could get 2 F seats ZRH-BOS on 7th May (we'll also have our toddler daughter as a lap child), connecting from CDG. However, I then noticed that would put us in Rome in Holy Week/Easter, which given we're not Catholics, and it's our first time in Rome, I've heard is a really bad idea (crowds++, many places shut).

I tried to change the connecting segment only from FCO or VCE to ZRH, instead of CDG (essentially swapping the order of cities) -- although there is plenty of availability for the connecting flight, because it is a married sector, the ICC said they couldn't change it, without cancelling the whole booking: and there would be no guarantee that the two F seats would go back into redemption booking class. Is that correct?

As an alternative, I asked if there are 2F seats ZRH-BOS on any dates a few days either way -- but it seems we have taken the last pair of F seats 2-3 weeks either side of 7th May? Is that right? I would very much appreciate FTers help in either finding F (2 seats) availability on LX in the 1st week of May to Boston, or alternatively, help with changing the intra-European sector only on the 7th May booking.

many thanks,

tb

Please Help With 1st Redemption

I am new to this and considering to make my first redemption, therefore I appreciate any advise regarding my Diamond Club miles. It seems that my DC miles will not be worth a lot once DC joins Miles and More in mid 2011 (which I have read on FT). At the moment I have almost 200000 miles in my account and I rather burn them before the change over. I have used the ANA Mileage search engine in the past to search for availability in C Class on *A partners but I have noticed that is now restricted if you do not have any miles in your ANA account.

I am considering redeeming miles + cash for two C tickets to Thailand (60000miles + £405cash + tax) and two C tickets to South Africa (37500 + £255cash + tax) – hope I got this right.

Can anyone please advise if there are availability to redeem miles for the following:

LHR (or from EU with availability & taxes are less) to HKT or BKK or SIN in C class
Outbound: 21/04/2011 (+- 3days)
Inbound: 06/05/2011 (+-3 days)

LHR (or from EU with availability & taxes are less) to JHB in C Class
Outbound: 05/07/2011 (+-5 days)
Inbound: 28/07/2011 (+- 5 days)

I appreciate any feedback or advise. Thank you for your time!:)

Hey, there is a workaround for the ANA problem:
Just seach for a route (eg. FRA-NRT) which is operated by ANA. When you get the results, scroll down and look for the "Star-Alliance Search" Button. This one still works fine.

3 seats in J awards anywhere with a nice beach?

Here's a problem other BMI miles collectors might have tried to solve already.
Is there any beach destination one could get availability for 3 biz/first seats? Little Wobbly, while happy flyer, can no longer seat on our lap so we need another seat. I've already explored MLE and DPS with awardnexus but could not find any flight (could find dates for 2 pax in J to DPS only).

Flexible on dates and happy to leave from anywhere zone 1 or 2 (within reason).

Hi, since ANA tool is gone, I could need some help from you... Looking for single seat LHR/ZRH/FRA/CPH/BRU - LAX or SFO in C
Dates: out 21.10.2010, return 04.11.2010

Is there anything still available?

Thanks a lot for your help.

@:-)

ANA is not gone : there is a very simple workaround which allows you to continue to use it without a mileage balance, the workaround is now also detailed in the READ THIS FIRST Sticky at the head of the forum.

Availability SIN-MLE?

Trying to get a return SIN-MLE in late April or May 2011 for 2pax. There seems to be no availability on any days in any class!
Is the trick then to book 1 pax at a time. Or might I come a cropper with that? i.e. book one person then when I try the next one they say "No availability!" Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks
