Hello guys!

I am looking for a F-class seat on ZRH/GVA to JFK on LX's new A333 somewhen in august or september. Well, when I check the availability using the ANA tool, then I get zero availability, but when I check it using M&M then I always get some F seat.
I do know that M&M have better premium class availability for their members but now my question: Which seat availability does use BMI? I do know that BMI had the same availability like M&M back in those days when ANA didn't show LX's availability online. Now, you can see LX's availability on ANA, so which of those two (M&M or ANA) availabilities does now BMI use?

thx, flo

I booked a J-award on LX which was coming up on M&M but not showing on ANA, so therefore I think that DC has access to the 'M&M-only' awards.

Separate Q: can I change the date of an award within the 7 day window (non-BD gold) ?

Hi All:

Need some help as i am a newbie.

I was desperately looking for flights for me and my wife to go to USA/CANADA and back.

Went on to Awardnexus and found plenty of tickets only for all of the ICC people to say that it isn't available. Wanted to know why award nexus has these flights but ICC can't see them? I even gave them the flight numbers. I called back at least 10 times to recheck.

I ended up booking different flights and taking different routes. business flights for the following:

18/12/10 LHR to JFk via Lufthansa
30/12/10 La Guardia to Toronto via air canada
1/1/11 Toronto to Seattle via air canada
10/1/11 Seattle to LHR via Lufthansa

I prefer to actually leave any new york airport to Toronto on 29/12/10

and also i really don't want to be flying from Toronto to Seattle on 1/1/11 and prefer to fly from toronto to vancouver on 31/12/10

If that was possible, then i would also like to fly from Calgary or Edmonton to London airport on 10/1/11.

Both of these flights i would need for business class.

Please can you kindly help me.

Thanks

Air NZ LAX-LHR

The ANA thing has thrown a spanner in the works.

Please could anyone advise the availability of LAX-LHR in Air NZ biz, one-way, Sun/Mon/Tue 29/30/31 May, 5/6/7 June or 12/13/14 June.

LX have reasonable availability (one hopes for their new C seat), but I've just seen NZ fly direct.

Thanks ...

You can still check *A awards on ANA:

1.go to ANA International Flight Awards
2.Enter an ANA operated route
3.Click Next
4.at the bottom click on Use Star Alliance Members Airline (2nd blue button from the bottom)
Working fine this morning when I was checking availability!

Unable to use ANA - can someone check for me please ?

I'm out of the country at the moment and our IT dept have helpfully stopped functionality of the ANA site on my company laptop. Could someone please check availaibilty of the following: ?

I want to go from ICN to either FRA or CDG on 3rd January in business. I want to go Asiana not Lufthansa, so would like to check Asiana availability before I call ICC so that they don't fob me off with a LH flight.

Thanks in advance.

They block access to an airline website but allow you to browse Flyertalk?

See if you can access the Nexus award tool.

As it happens I was looking at flights for NRT/ICN this morning for around this time!

Afraid no availability ICN-FRA or CDG on OZ on that date. LH has availability to FRA though. The first date I can see with availability on OZ is 21 January onwards!

Yes, we have the worst IT dept in the world. I can get the ANA website, but when I go to log in I get an 'out of company policy' message. However, I can use Flyertalk, Ebay, Amazon etc no problem. I'll try the website you suggest, thanks for the info.

Thanks for looking for availability, maybe I'll try closer to the date as I understand that Asiana open up seats with just a few weeks to go, and I'd much rather fly OZ than LH.

I wondered if someone with ANA access (mine appears to have stopped) could check the following:

1 seat in Y for the following one-way

7 Sep LHRSIN SQ317/321
9 Sep SINMEL SQ227

Plenty of availability to SIN, none to MEL... or in fact any Oz city that day!

Sorry for jumping in again, can anyone confirm there's no way to route LON-MLE on *A awards - see my earlier post in this thread. TIA

The main way is via SIN and then SIN-MLE. Only problem is that SQ won't do J or F awards on LHR-SIN, so you need to try something like LHR-FRA-SIN-MLE or LHR-BKK-SIN-MLE

The next problem is that SQ are not releasing (m)any J seats on SIN-MLE, so again availability is limited.

The other routing is on VIE-MLE on Austrian in the winter. Getting seats on that isn't impossible, but there appear to have only been a couple of successful redemptions there.

To MLE, you need to be flexible on your dates, keep your fingers crossed and keep checking.

Thanks RAPC. I tried extensively with that awardnexus tool but I cannot see anything available on VIE-MLE. Shame Austrian is not on expertflyer as otherwise I could try there.

Did a search and found plenty of availabily to DPC connecting in BKK in J with TG. With my luck we'd never reach DPC and be stranded in BKK for weeks though. :(

Hey, I don't have access to the ANA-tool and are desperatly trying to book a one-way first award on either LX, LH or UA (in this order of preferances) from the US on either the 6. or 7. of November to Europe. Have been in contack with DC, so far without luck....but all they did was to try to give me an economy seat as they couldn't find anything else

So I wonder if anyone of you with access to the ANA-tool could see if there is any First availbility from either the West Coast to Europa on the 6 of November or ANYWHERE in the US to europe on the 7.?

Help would be very appreciated :)
