Hi .... the obvious solution is the advertised on-line Companion tool bundled with Diamond membership!

I asked when it might be available .... realise you're busy but any idea?

Thanks.

The other thing to try when you're away from your main PC is to do the ANA *A search on AwardNexus.com, free and web based so it may help in those situations.

Hi - I've got around 250k miles which I'm looking at splurging on a trip for my parent's 60th next year.

What are the chances of getting 4 business class seats around Easter time on a flight to the West Coast US or Carribbean?

Happy to take suggestions of alternative destinations if availability would be an issue.

Award availability is unlikely to become a part of the the Online or Mobile Companion's functionality, as both were designed for the most common 'on-the-go' tasks...

Swiss redemption

Hello guys!

I am looking for a F-class seat on ZRH/GVA to JFK on LX's new A333 somewhen in august or september. Well, when I check the availability using the ANA tool, then I get zero availability, but when I check it using M&M then I always get some F seat.
I do know that M&M have better premium class availability for their members but now my question: Which seat availability does use BMI? I do know that BMI had the same availability like M&M back in those days when ANA didn't show LX's availability online. Now, you can see LX's availability on ANA, so which of those two (M&M or ANA) availabilities does now BMI use?

thx, flo

I am on the phone now with an ICC agent and have to say that he is really annoying. He "certainly" can't do this and can't do that. He did try the patent 'no availability' then I started to give him flights. What I'm confused about is that I'm seeing availability for a flight I want on KVS but he is telling me that it goes into WL and I can't have it.

[KVS Availability Tool 5.7.0/Platinum - SNT: Awards/StarAlliance/JP-ANA-STD]
Code:
FRA Frankfurt Metro / Frankfurt Int'l DE = FRA HHN [EDDF]
PHL Philadelphia Metro / Philadelphia Int'l PA US = PHL TTN [KPHL]
WED 18 Aug 2010 | 1 Seat

Carrier Flight From Depart To Arrive A/C St Availability
--------- ------ ---- -------- ---- -------- --- -- -------------
US 701 FRA 11:10 PHL 14:00 333 0 FS/ CS- YS-
US 703 FRA 12:50 PHL 15:45 333 0 FS/ CS- YS-
LH 426 FRA 14:00 PHL 16:55 343 0 FS/ CS+ YS-
What is up with the discrepancy? What this means is that I can't even check online to see availability then call to book into that space.

So I'm ending up going on Aug 18 TLV-FRA-ZRH-MIA-CLT-PIT All in C other than MIA-CLT-PIT. It is going to be a very long day....

So, I saw that there was ZRH-BOS availability and wanted to book it but he said that FRA-ZRH-MIA was a married segment so he couldn't break them. I'm guessing just laziness on his part.

I've booked it and understand that I can make changes for 20 pounds. So any tips on what to look for? How can I get accurate information on the LH FRA-PHL flight other than just calling again and again?

Hi - I need some help!

The ANA tool does not feature DAR as a destination nor does EF have Turkish airlines as an option.

Could someone who knows more than me please check, if possible, if there are seats on:

13 & 20 Nov, 00:30am flight IST-DAR (via EBB) in C.

Would it also be possible to check if there are return seats on the same flights:

DAR-IST Saturday 27 Nov and Sat 04 Dec in C-class. Flight departs 20:45.

Many thanks,

DF

This is for 2 people.

AwardNexus has no trouble finding DAR using ANA. And it shows seats available for IST/DAR on 20 Nov only and for DAR/IST on both 27 Nov & 4 Dec.

ANA does cover DAR as a destination. You just need to type it in as the destination, rather than try to access it via a drop down menu. Only the main destinations are in the drop down boxes. You can search for any Star Alliance served airport by typing in the code.

This was the reply I got despite availability being shown with AwardNexus when using airport code DAR. I rarely use the drop-down so that was not the issue.

I now checked another date that showed availability and it does indeed feature DAR. Poor checking on my behalf but now quizzical as to who is correct. Can't wait to have the ICC tell me.

MLE??!

Tried to look for this and read tons of pages but cannot find answers to what below. In my days one would use the ANA tool but I see this is no longer operational other than by posting miles into it. I tried awardnexus but it's not reporting any availability, which of course could be correct. But just to check:

1) Is there a valid LON-MLE routing on *A that ever shows some availability in J or C? If so which one is it (might help with the search) and do they release more than two seats on it? (Yes I did try LHR/LGW on awardnexus and not LON).

2) Is it permissable to remove a pax from an award booking made with DC on *A flights? If so do the miles get redeposited? IS there a fee?

Thanks for any help!
