Just an FYI , now that the likes of ANA do not show BD availability....

DUB-LHR award availability now visible on BA.com (but not on bmi.com)

Question

Trying to get 2 seats in C on SQ for BCN-GRU-BCN for anytime in 2012.
I've managed to get 1 seat so far on one outbound date but a second seat hasn't popped up.
I'm assuming this means a second is unlikily to appear before the 31st May.

Do these extra seats usually appear straight away?

Where can I check redemption availability for BHD - LHR using DC miles?
BA.com is selling seats but unable to see if I can use miles as the flights are still listed as BD. The DC website has wiped BHD (Belfast City Airport) from it's list of airports for spending miles...
Travel date Sun 24th June and return Tues 26th June 3 pax.

Thanks.

If you sign up to BA Executive Club, you can view availability on their "Book with Avios" page. Remember too that European flights on BA qualify for Reward Flight Saver, including the BHD flights, so you'd only pay £13.50 tax one-way plus 4,500 Avios.

Does that include flights booked with diamond club miles?

"Reward Flight Saver gives you a better deal on shorter flights. It's available on all British Airways and Iberia routes within zones 1-3, as long as you’ve collected at least one Avios within the last 12 months."

I suspect bmi miles may involve full taxes

No, it's only for BAEC/Avios redemptions, so if you don't have any Avios, then it's perhaps not useful until July.

That said, those same 4,500 miles + £13.50 would also get you a flight from London to, say, Berlin, Paris, any other UK destination, or a few other nearby places for no extra charge, potentially with a stopover in London if you wanted as well. Really quite excellent value compared with DC.

Welcome to FT.

Unfortunately, diamond club is in then process of being wound up, and the ability to spend on SQ ceased quite a while ago. There's no one here now on the forum save for tumbleweed, a couple stray cats and a few dossers who've been reluctant to leave.

Suggest you repost your query elsewhere on Flyertalk.

On the other hand.....

BMI Regional have the right to drop the Regional from some time next year, are to launch a loyalty scheme....might they also join * a little later, there are after all a few other minnows in * such as Croatia Airlines out there.......

Perhaps I've just seen Elvis? Well his daughter was seen in a chip van, perhaps deep frying mars bars for our friends north of the border?

Maybe it is worth hanging around a while.......just to see....you never know
