In my usual cynical way, I'm guessing the 'we're closing and you have X days/weeks to shift your balance to BA' email will come from this new address.

Now, if that email set off the spam filters for reasons of its construction and wording, and a good number of intended recipients did not get it because they had failed to whitelist the new email address, it would not be too upsetting to the accountancy trade, I would imagine.

Moreover, it signals the death of the flybmi.com domain in its current usage.

Does anybody care?

If this is another change, I can't find the old email change announcement to check, from looking back all they seem to have done this time is change [email protected] to [email protected]

Still, I haven't received anything about it on any of the six old accounts I look after. Mind you I think the last time I did get anything from bmi, bmi/BA or whoever on any of them was June.

Are the old eMail addresses still active, such as dc.admin at flybmi.com?

Probably not, or if they are they'll be phased out soon enough. I think ultimately the whole rights to the bmi brand (including the domain) will pass to bmi regional.

They're phasing out the bmi brand (on BA's combine my Avios page it now says diamond club rather than showing the bmi logo).
