....and it'll probably come and go and come and go and some will see it alot and some will see once or twice and some will never see it until it finally appears permanently, aw-ite. Jeez, its like Anneka Rice and Treasure Hunt or The Crystal Maze in here!

Didnt see this coming and past caring to be honest. I will actually be happy to get matched to M&M. Never thought Id say it but at least M&M is more professional and seems to have a decent website. I was wanting to use my miles for LH A380 anyway in November
Just logged in and got this :

I guess the worst case scenario is 1:1 miles transfer?

In a moment of curiosity, or perhaps daftness, I pressed the "miles and more" button before checking here and got the thanks for transferring to M&M message.
I'm presuming that not even in BMI Land would the pressing of an arbitrary unqualified button be used as unrevocable evidence of a request to transfer? Are we suspecting that the BMI boffins haven't switched on the transfer process?
Nothing's easy!

Well, the honeymoon for me didn't last all that long (was matched BD*G late last year, got 15K miles dumped in thanks to SMD1).
Now I have to work out how to burn off 25k destination miles.... or perhaps I should hold on to them for the LH transition...

Do you mean you are at the start of your membership year, or that you have dropped down the lists? (I am at the start of my year, but have silver...)

the little flag at the top of the page
I'm working from Dublin and when I log in first, I can see a microscopic Irish flag, beside the 'other countries' tab at the top, and can't see the M&M option.
However, as I browse the Members area, I notice that the flag has changed to a UK one, and now I can see the M&M option. I didn't select it - I've been carefully moving the mouse to avoid accidents.
I haven't clicked M&M, since I'm not certain what I want to happen.
But, if I decide I want to take the option, it looks as if my home address isn't what is stopping me seeing the option.
