As of 2/12/14: We've had quite a few "Hey, come use this AWD. It's great" type of posts. When the AWD doesn't give a good discount, but is only posted to try to get renters to use the AWD of someone so the poster can earn free days from their Avis Corporate account. From here out, please put the company/trade group/etc that's associated with the AWD or we'll delete the post to keep it on-topic here.

PHX - LAX 1 week
Never rented a week rental before and the code i have is terrible for PHX-LAX on a one week rate -($606) besides it being a one way rental - it has no miles (.40 ppm) included!!!
I'm an Avis First - unless someone is kind enough to reply or PM me another code - gonna have to try priceline

Sammyh, try Hyatt's code K817700, which gives me a rate of $683++ = $963.73 unlimited mileage for a week. Add Coupon MUWA130 for $30 off.
Better yet, try Hertz with RQ DRIVE + discount code & coupon!

Hi guys, great to encounter this awesome forum about AVIS deals.
I am a student travelling from SFO to LAX, hoping to pick up the car on the Dec. 17 at the airport. Planning to go to NBA games on the 22nd, 25th, and the 27th.
Was looking through AWD and Coupon codes, several combinations quoted me at approximately $190.00 for 11 days and 13 hours.
I combined coupon: MUWA130 and AWD: W2091198.
Wondering if there are other tricks so I can save more money.
Also I am under the age of 21, last week I checked Avis.com, they had an option to select "Under 21." But the option is not on the list right now. I am thinking what's the difference and also what insurance coverage is a MUST.
Trying to max out on savings.
Thanks for the help in advance.

AWD for MSP Dec 29-Jan 2?
Hi there --
Would any flyertalk experts be willing to provide some holiday help? My usual AWD code, farmer's insurance, isn't working here (it's showing a per-mile charge). I'm having trouble finding anything else...
Many thanks -
