As of 2/12/14: We've had quite a few "Hey, come use this AWD. It's great" type of posts. When the AWD doesn't give a good discount, but is only posted to try to get renters to use the AWD of someone so the poster can earn free days from their Avis Corporate account. From here out, please put the company/trade group/etc that's associated with the AWD or we'll delete the post to keep it on-topic here.

If you have an AWD listed on your "preferred profile", the final page of the reservation will default to that code no matter what AWD you put in during your research.
You need to either change your profile or call Avis to get the correct rate for the reservation with your desired AWD. You can always add your wizard number later.

Any idea what this rate is?
I found this rate code (A442100) a few pages back and was not sure if it was a specific corporations rate code. It saves me 200 dollars so I am a little worried about using it without some investigation.

hi guys,
i will be in the usa for about 2 weeks in april. The question is whether or not it is possible to ommit the mileage surcharge? I want to rent a car for 2 weeks but as a one-way (rent in Detroit/Buffalo, give it back in NYC). The problem is that I want to go to Florida, so i really need unlimited miles...
All the codes that I used drop the surcharge for one-way rental but there is still a mileage surcharge.
Can anybody help me?
