Wow!

This seems to be quite the amazing resource. Really glad I stumbled upon it!

I'm planning on being in Orlando the second week in March and a few of these codes have done wonders for the prices that are getting spit back, but I still have some questions I hope you can address.

First -Will I have an issue combining coupon codes, AWD codes, AND a $100 off certificate?

Second - I'm under 25, can I expect to be profiled when using some of these codes? Does anyone have recent experience at MCO?

Thanks for the help and I hope to be able to contribute to this forum in the future.

Who has used this code before?

Help anyone? Thanks!

Let me know what you were able to find out re this code? It does give a great rate.

G417900 It's been on this board for years. Very good rates, unlimited miles, never an I.D. hassle, and LDW included. You may be able to do a few dollars better if you try every code, but to me the hassle is not worth it.

AVIS Coupon Codes

You can get Avis coupon codes simply by calling Avis customer service with your rental parameters and asking for one that fits your rental.

MUWA198 is $30 off, mid-size or bigger, 5-20 days.

How do we know if the codes work? I have entered several and some of them make the price double or even triple!! One went from $174 up to $727 after I entered the code.

Best AWD Codes for NYC?

I haven't been able to do any better than D005297 and J868801 in NYC. Has anyone else found better codes for the city?

I plan to rent a car from Avis, so came here to see what coupons are available. I've found such good info on Flyertalk for all travel related info.

When you reserve a car online, at what point in the process do you get the opportunity to ender the G417900 code? This will be a great help. Does it
require you to have a higher priced rental, to be able to apply this code?

I'm sorry if this has been answered before, but this is a long thread with a lot of reading. lol

thanks in advance

Airport : FLL
Rental length : One week or one week + one day.

I'm looking to rent a convertible w/unlimited mileage --- is the best course of action to flat out reserve a convertible (if so, any good coupon codes you all can suggest?) or to reserve a full-size and ask for the upgrade/upsell at the counter?

You'll be hard pressed to upgrade into a convertible unless you're a President's Club member or Chairman. Is a First member, I always booked full size and with an 'upgrade coupon' or sweet talk, I was never able to get a convertible. YMMV, but I'd suggest reserving one. Or you could book a full-size and ask for one. If they don't do it, walk away to your back-up reservation (at Hertz or somewhere else).

1. You shouldn't have any issues with an AWD and a certificate. I've never had trouble using both.

2. If you're under 25, you'll be hit with a fee unless you have a corporate code that covers those < 25. Good luck and check your message box.

I've tried to book using this code, but I don't see the LDW charge being dropped, is still is an option to be checked. What am I doing wrong? I'm not a President's Club member or any other program they have. Is this required, to get get these discounts?

You won't see all the AWD contract benefits listed on the reservation. It's on the contract, or you can verify when you pickup car. Nothing required to use this code.

Thanks. This is very helpful for now and the future. It applies to all sized cars, correct?
