What organization is this AWD for: U861800? AutoSlash booked it for me. Supposedly no eligibility requirements. I can't find it anywhere online.

I encountered the same when booking so I asked AutoSlash. The code is for USAA.

Has anyone tried using A444491 in Europe ? The discount is amazing, but what is the danger of the airport office (in Spain) asking for proof of entitlement ?
I regularly book using Cayman as my home country (although UK based Cayman produces significantly lower rates) and have never had a problem, although my personal info on the booking shows as my UK address. So I guess the airport agents either are not alive to the address discrepancy or don't care. Overall I get the sense that because they are usually so busy and understaffed, they really just want to process people as fast as they can. I have a code I am actually entitled to use - not nearly as good as A444491 - and have never once been asked to justify its use. |
Hi,
Does anyone have a comprehensive list of AWD codes in a word or pdf doc? Also, just joined deutsche bank AG and am looking for the AWD code for a long rental in Europe this summer. I spoke to our travel and HR dept but no one seems to know it, so I thought I'd try here. |

Yes, as long as you can prove you work for the company there should be no issue at all.
Safe travels! You have to show an amazon ID or an email from amazon's domain stating you are an employee. They just need a quick glance at your proof. If you do know how to show proof then dont use this code as they will deny you if you dont have simple proof that you can show on your phone. Amazon is the only company still using rentals heavily as their business was boombing. Most companies stopped all car rentals so their codes lost all their good usage based discounts. |

Can I ask if anyone has used this code lately, and if there have been IDs asked for?

Might be an old number from a previous employer. I found one of those in my Hertz account.

The easiest thing to do is to just call the reservations line and ask them what discount code is on your reservation. The phone agents can see the name the AWD is associated with.

I tired the AMAZON integration about a year ago and it didn’t really get me too far or too much more of a discount than what some AWD and AS would do. but, I tried it again for an upcoming HI rental and it brought it down quite a bit. I started at $1180 for a two week rental Full Size, AS found me rates down about $800 (pay at pickup) and the Amazon “30% off” got it to $720, and $640 for pre-pay - which I ended up doing. I mean we’re GOING, so hopefully that won’t be an issue.
Discount Code that shows up is L463685 Rate Code is TQ And, it seems that once the rental is completed one should get back another 10% of some amount in amazon gift card credit.. I’ll let this be a test. |
AWD for one-way rentals
Does anyone know of a good AWD for one-way rentals? The AWDs I normally use offer good savings, but charge between $0.23 and $0.27 per mile. Not a good option for me, since I'm driving ~1,500 miles over the course of a week.
