Cyprus AWD discount codes...

Hello everybody,

i'm looking for AWD for Cyprus for September.
I'm tried a lot of codes, but a lot of them is not working.

Is it possible to get some good (working) codes with nice discount for Cyprus?
Please give me some information..

Thanks a lot,
Kris

There are many AWD numbers which are either country specific (meaning only work in one, or maybe two countries, such as US & Canada), or country exclusive (meaning works in many countries, but is specifically blocked for one or more countries. The same can be true for coupons too.

Howdy. I am going to Hawaii in July and need rental for 7 days. I have been fiddlin around and on FatWallet found a code: A679100 which resulted in a $200 a/i price for intermediate car for a week. Deal! The FatWallet code said it was Hawaii Bar Association. Should I file this under too good to be true? I also see that www.discounthawaiicarrental.com has same vehicle for about $20 more. They seem to be reputable from what I have found online. Anyone have any input on either of these codes? I have a confimred reservation with Enterprise for $225 for Intermediate and I like Enterprise due to allowance of spouse as driver for no fee, but thanks to FT I found Avis/Budget allow the same.

Also, due to length of rental the coupon MUAA046 would give me 1750 AA miles. Do they add the .75/day for this at the rental counter? I don't mind using this coupon instead of $ coupon as almost all $ coupons are not eligible in Hawaii.

AWD's valid in South America?

Hi Folks,

I will be renting for one month in South America (Bolvia), and won't be driving long miles. Most (all) of the recently-posted codes here don't seem to be valid down there. Anyone have any tips for finding good discounts?

thanks!

You may want to check into the possibility of hiring a car and driver, instead of renting a car. In some Latin American countries, it is about the same price, or it is cheaper to hire a car and driver than it is to rent a car.

This is correct. I have used the A972200 code for the last dozen or so rentals, in Oakland, San Jose, Boston, San Diego, Chicago, Milwaukee.

Each time, its saved me between 35% to 45% on my rental. A huge savings I've yet to be able to match with any other code.

It has always been limited to 125 miles included, per day. So for my typical 2 day rentals, I get a total of 250 miles, after which the per mile charge varies but is pretty high. So anyone who is doing extensive driving with the rental should stay away from this code. But if you're doing less than 125 miles/day... heck yea this code rocks!

I've yet to be asked a single time what company I work for, or any question related to the code.

I just checked it for a one way, three day rental in Spain next month. It gave me the best rate I've found so far. And, yes, while it comes with only 750 kms included, since that's more than the amount I plan to drive, it should work just fine. As a bonus, it also includes free CDW.

Just some "intel", I used the CostCo AWD code and also a double upgrade code (now currently no longer on CostCo website however the offer itself expired June 30 2010) at Avis DFW Airport.

Nobody asked me for coupons, my CostCo card (I am a member...), etc etc. Nothing.

All I got were happy smiles and good service

sorry,there is a costco rate??

It's Farmer's Insurance, I believe. And, from what I can tell, it's ok to use it.

Sure, if you are a member, ask at your local Costco. There is also a BJ's rate, and probably a Sam's Club rate too. There are all sorts of rates for all sorts of things, from just about every membership club you could think of.

Maybe you can become a USAA member

I checked for some rentals and the codes that work for me are A177232 (USAA) and B999000 (AVIS Employee??). I looked up the USAA AVIS rental benefits it seems that there are a few mentioned at http://www.avis.com/car-rental/html/...faq.html#ans12

I am having second thoughts on using the USAA codes in case I get into an accident. My guess is that once that happens, your AWD code gets looked at to see if you qualify for any waivers and at that point it might become apparant to AVIS that the usage of that code is invalid for my rental. (I waive all insurance coverages at the time of rental). Has anyone have any experience with this kinda situation? My real fear is that not only will AVIS invalidate the code after the accident (I can live with that) but AMEX will not allow me to use the Premium Rental Protection because I committed "fraud" in the first place.

The other code B999000 seems to be too good to be true. If I actually use the avis.co.uk site and use this code on top of that, I am getting luxury car (with LDW/SLI included) for a ridiculous amount. It is discounting the full sticker price by about 80~90%, which I am sure will guarantee a second look at my reservation. I read some older threads, and it seems that this code is a big trouble.

Many more people can qualify for USAA membership nowadays. It used to be only military officers but now is pretty much available to anyone with a family link to someone in the service including enlisted personnel (The family member doesn't have to be career, either). This includes divorced spouses, widows and widowers, etc., who can be members for life. FT'ers should look into this as USAA's rental contract term for Avis, Budget and Hertz come with some significant perks.:)

Using the AWD above (A679100) gets some great rates. Will it work? I'm going to be in LIH JUl 25 - Aug 8. I am seeing a rate of $200/week incl taxes.

Can someone let me know if this AWD will work when I pick up the car?

Coupon code for NYC??

I tried to add a coupon code for JFK and it says that this location does not participate in corporate coupons. It did take the AWD number.

Anyone have a coupon code for NYC? Free weekend day? $$ off?? Anything?
