Any other AWD (including other airlines like Lufthansa) is saying no cars available at all.

Grab it. They’re sold out all over the London area.

I always use the Hilton Hhonours code but had read that the tie up had ended. Still, I tried it today and it worked.

I need a car at LAX for a couple of weeks in March (3/3 to 3/17) and it shows a great rate- $273 for a full size for two weeks, $400 including all taxes and fees. But of course I don't want to be embarrassed or hassled. I am a Preferred member, so in theory I can just waltz out to the parking lot and jump in the car. Has anyone had any trouble recently?

Used 3x in the last 2 weeks the BBD code at LAX. No issues. I am preferred, and had to go into the office to check my card once.

Used Select and Go on the last and no issues. YMMV

Has anyone used the Bomabardier code at LAS? I'm wondering if I should risk it. The discount is great

ORD

Booked several days in ORD with AARP, it is from a magazine ad so no checking, it has the best public coupon rates.
AWD A359811 for AARP Magazine Readers
Price was about $260

I tried that amazon employee code and it was $190 for the same thing. But....do they check IDs for that? It is insanely cheaper than any other code.
The mileage was unlimited with it.
Amazon Employee code D008400

Amazon Employee code D008400

I googled this code and you can link your Amazon Prime to the Avis account and it automatically inserts the same AWD into the discount code for Amazon, D008400, however the rates you get are slightly higher. Being a preferred member, I'd cross fingers and hope that they have allocated car at the pick-up and go, otherwise if they ask I always say I am a consultant and XXX company is my client, I have only been asked once for ID and they did not force the issue when I said I was a consultant/contractor for the company.

We used legitimate sources for AVIS discount codes through 3 different organizations we are associated with. It was interesting how each code's rate improved from the prior code. For those who possess more than one AVIS discount code, each discount has a different value. Check each code against your travel itinerary and car class to be sure the code is still redeemable (not expired) and compare rates with any other discount code(s) you may have.

We also used Avis discount codes through Saveplus coupons. is one of the best online car rental service providing site. Make wise decisions and plan for your holiday book your favorite cabs at Avis. Hi folks, is there any good codes for pickup an Economy car or equivalent at MCO Dec 29 and return at FLL Jan 6? I tried D008400 but it doesn’t include Unlimited Mileages. Thanks!

Well.. I guess I'll start it off. My most reliable for consistantly low rates, unlimited miles, free LDW, and no hassle is still L093590.

because you are stealing if you use one

oneof the major companies has started to charge people for thrift if they catch you

do you all shop lift too

I recently came across this one: UTC B920508

No need to accuse folks on here if shoplifting. There are plenty of legit, public codes that the general public qualify for. This is a great place to share them.

Best place to start (if you qualify for them) would be the travel department of either place. If you don't qualify for them, it's extremely risky to try and use them.

I wasn't trying to be funny; just telling you where to get the code you're looking for instead of me just posting the code in a public forum.

Phoenix Discount Codes March 2019

It's crazy expensive in Phoenix in March. Best I can do is $350+ a week plus taxes and fees which comes to $570+. Yikes

I really only need 4 days + airport transfers which seems cheaper than a one week rental

any codes I can use?.

Haven't tried for the US, but with this code, in France and the UK, example of a weekly rental between 18-25JAN:
ABB code is at least 25% more expensive than the BA Silver one in France, for all car types
At LHR, ABB code is between £5 cheaper for Group A (Mini) to £200 more expensive for PDAR, compared to prices with BA Silver
In both cases, mileage is limited to 300 miles/km per day

Renting in 3 days from AVIS in PLS airport, Turks and Caicos...

There's just no way to get a discount code to work at a small Caribbean franchise operation, right? Same question with AVIS Preferred Plus upgrade benefits ... I assume they'll just laugh at me if I claim I'm entitled to a free upgrade.

The answer is no for Avis, but we've found that discount codes work with most other companies there. As for the upgrade question, you're probably correct.

Anyone know what code D487000 is for? Thanks!

IzzyL Feb 8, 2019 6:16 pm

Renting this summer in EDI, UK and this code is scarily low. Is it legit??

IzzyL Feb 11, 2019 9:59 am

Anyway, I ended up not being able to use that code. Went with the Amazon code and think I've got a good deal.

Peugeot 3008, standard auto for 10 days at for $557.

I need to rent from Spain and drop off in Portugal (Lisbon), rates for 2 days over a weekend are showing between 700-1000 depending on vehicle. Does anyone know of any code that could lower it?

One ways are expensive in Europe. I'd suggest renting in Spain, returning in Spain, then hopping over to PT and renting and returning in PT. Sites like driiveme have cars for 1€ that need repositioning (usually up to a 24 hr limit)

Even if it did, what difference does it make if you're not an employee? If you used it and had an accident, it's not like you'd be covered. The first thing they'd do is to confirm you were an employee. If you were not, you'd be liable for all the damage.

Not 100% of the time. I was using a big ten code, someone hit my number and they never asked ... and totally covered the repairs. Wound up not even paying for the rental...so...

I guess YMMV. Just not sure that I'd want to take the chance with a $30K+ vehicle but everyone has to assess their own risk tolerance.

Advice on Rental

I am new to this and would like to rent a car from Chesapeake VA to Dulles Airport and return 38 days later from Alexandria, VA to Chesapeake, VA using Avis car rentals one way . I have come across a code that gives a considerable discount on the one way rental from Alexandria, VA to Chesapeake, VA but not sure who the code is associated with and if I would incur any problems using it. Code is B270898 does anyone on this forum have any information on the code. Thanks in advance as we are traveling overseas and do not want to pay long term rental for our car to be parked at the airport.

ng1265 Mar 25, 2019 7:11 am

a quick search would have told you it's a Costco code :-)

daycaremom Mar 25, 2019 8:26 am

I have researched all that...but it is not a Costco code like many people have said. No need for smart remarks...

Care to share where online? I've done a few basic searches and this code is crazy high, which doesn't seem right for a company this size. Not the one listed on Accenture's internal discount list.
