How about LAX-ICN OZ 203? Is that flight pretty consistent in terms of getting the 777 with QS seats?

I'm due to fly OZ522 LHR - ICN on the 22nd March and OZ521 ICN-LHR on the 8th April. The seat assignment map shows only 4 rows of seats in Business in a 2-3-2 configuration. I'm guessing this means I'm on the old 777 with no QS and no AVOD? Is there any chance there might be a late plane change or is it pretty much set in stone?

Old. No 3-class OZ plane has new C.

Will I still get old seating on ICN-JFK for Business class travel this autumn?
How does the product compare with CX Business class (their new seating on the HKG-ORD or HKG-JFK route?)

On the first page I see the routes up till Mar 2012. Anyone know the routes after that?

FWIW: QS service is provided by 3 crew members, whereas on a non-AVOD 777 by 4. However you get better bedding on QS (quilty- things, decent pillow) and a cheap and nasty blanket on the non AVOD flight. My current trip was QS from LHR-ICN; non-AVOD ICN-SYD.
Soft product pretty similar, of course but the QS is streets ahead in terms of comfort.
My last trip to SYD was at the time the last regular 747s with old (very old) J were disappearing and the lie-flat-and-slide were appearing- so about 6 years life for the seat types, I guess.

Saw HL7742 at SYD today. Seems it's just operated LHR-ICN-SYD-ICN. A nice unexpected upgrade for C class pax to/from SYD.

Good to know that this can happen on occassion !

I am flying this route in Oct with Mrs CC and the flight shows as being a 777-200 with the old business class product, that was recently reviewed by Business Traveler :

Fingers crossed for a plane change that day :p

When I flew back to SYD from LAX via ICN just before Christmas, the 777 had obviously been on a LHR-ICN-SYD run (the in-flight tracker still showed its journey). I was in Y, so couldn't tell you if it was a QS seat at the pointy end or not though.

You can still tell in Y, as if there is QS seat in C, Y would have AVOD, not video in a loop.
