Has anyone had success with booking 2 wynn rooms and having them both upgraded to parlor suites?

Hi all, just a couple of questions for you experience FHR. I am booking for the first time for Bellagio FHR. I will be staying one night, and checking in at 10pm. What can I do to maximize all the benefits for the day? I am traveling solo.

So I assume I will only get 1 $30 credit for breakfast? Since late check out is at 4pm, does that mean I'll miss the chance to go the "The Buffet" for dinner? How much credits should I get totally for the stay? Any other tips would be appreciated. I read through and searched a number of posts but many of them are from mid/late last year during the holidays and such. Just wanted to confirm again whats the best way. Thanks in advanced!

Typically I set the reservation for 2 people, and getting the 2X breakfast credit was not an issue. Also, dinner starts @ 3, so you could just eat at 3 and do mobile checkout and that should work for you. Assuming that you use up the ~40 of your $100 credit on the buffet, that leaves $60 which you could do lunch at Cafe Bellagio with.

Interesting.. Mobile check out, genius. Do you recall is there anything even open where I could use the resort credits around 10pm at night? Aside from the bar? I am trying to also figure out if there is anything I can do for the 10pm check-in day. Thanks for the quick reply!

Cafe Bellagio is open 24/7, so you could have a meal on arrival and it would apply toward your $100 credit. FIX should be open late (at least midnight) so that's an option as well.

I was used to it being open 24/7, but stayed there in December and January - Cafe Bellagio is now open from 6am - 1am. The only place open in the Bellagio after 1am for food is "Snacks" which has Burgers and Pizza. You order at the counter and can take a number to eat there or take the food to-go. It's past Lily Bar/Lounge and to the right of the Sportsbook.

All, thanks for all your tips and help. @Vic do you know if "Snacks" items were applied toward the $100 Credit?

Stayed at Bellagio last week 2 nights.
Decent mid-week rate vs. mLife tier offer when FHR benefits factored in.

ARRIVAL: Arrived just after 5pm, used invited guest line. (also mLife Gold can use that, which I am, but that didn't come up until end of reservation, so just letting FHR people know another DP on that)
ROOM/UPGRADE: Booked a "run of house" room - and this was just me so while I would have loved fountain view, didn't need much of a view - and my rec w/ Bellagio is book the view if you want it - dont rely on upgrade to a view. Was given two queen "pool/garden" view in main tower on high floor - no single kings available. Pushed a little, was offered Salon Suite for $75 /night, was fine.. honestly, only thing that mattered to me was being in main Bellagio tower, not the Spa Tower. I guess I got an upgrade ? But no idea how to tell with "run of the house" room?
FHR BENES: clear explanation/sheet provided with details, etc. Late checkout offered, accepted, but only needed until about noon.
FHR BENES USAGE: was just me, but booked res as two, and asked for two keys, but declined to "add another name" at check in - I'm not sure you have to do that song and dance to get 2 daily credits, but whatever. Asked about "breakfast credit" on day of check in , b/c I was thinking about Cafe Bellagio for quick easy dinner , and maybe $60 "breakfast" towards that (instead of $100 credits) as my experience in past has been "breakfast" options qualify all day (Cafe, Paleo, etc) - check in lady seemed confused as it was 5pm, and I just wanted toget going, so didn't push.
- Breakfast both days at Cafe Bellagio covered, NOT TIP
- Also got some goodies at Paleo both mornings after breakfast for later (another coffee, fruit, etc) , so total spent about $50 or so on "breakfast" both days and split locations, COVERED, didn't tip there so dont know if that would have been
- Used $100 credit at Jasmine - went slightly over $100 with tax and tip.. but... meal covered, NOT TAX AND TIP.
CHECK OUT: saw these charges and no wifi credit on resort fee/lowered resort fee ... so had to go downstairs to checkout with a human -- used invited guest line
- inquired about wifi - associate had to pull up FHR letter she had next to her, saw it, said she'll have manager override
- asked about tax/tip - she said rather gruffly that she's been there six years and tax and tip is never covered.... I was actually kinda of rushed at that point to get to valet to car to airport, so didn't have much time to argue it out... but that's not my recollection, and further, no tax was charged for Cafe Bellagio, only tip.

Question to the group: whats been your tax/tip experience there? I can't find old itemized receipts, but I feel like I've had it all "wiped out" entirely on check out before, plus my bill seems "mixed" - cafe bellagio tax covered, not tip, jasmine no tax/tip covered.

ETA: Found a prior FHR stay at Bellagio detailed Folio from 2015:
- ever weirder - Cafe Bellagio Tax was still on bill.
- no tips anywhere were on the bill
- ate at Michael Mina and tax was on the bill too, but no tip

Do I have a case to call Bellagio to get Tips removed?

Checked out of Bellagio this morning. Taxes and tips were not covered at buffet, cafe or Fix.

Recent stays at DELANO, also an MGM Resorts property like Bellagio, and tips were never covered. Taxes were covered up to the $60 breakfast or $100 property credit, but if you spend $59.99 + tax, you're going to pay that tax over the $60.00 total.

Also last question, do I need to book through FHR amextravel to get the benefits? So I see that mlife is offering through Amex the $60 off $300 again or is available in my account. Is there a way to combine these two offers?

ok so sounds like my experience in the past with tips covered was an exception/error, not the rule to base on.
thanks all!

It has been the experience of others that booking Mlife properties through FHR does trigger these Amex offers because the charges appear on your Amex card as coming directly from the property.

Be aware that FHR Mlife bookings charge a one-night deposit to you upon booking and the rest is paid at check-out. So if for example the terms of the Amex offer say it has to be in one transaction rather than combined across multiple transactions, and if you were looking at booking a 3-night stay at $120/night in order to hit the $300, you might not qualify for the offer because you'd get a $120 charge now and a $240 charge at checkout. (Of course, if you had additional room charges during your stay such that the $240 ended up being over $300, and your checkout date was before the expiration date of the offer, then you could qualify for the offer that way.)

I'm actually in the middle of this right now - $60 credits as I booked two reservations - but cancelled one, so it reversed, offer gone, final charge was over $300, so I *should* qualify, but i know i'm going to have to go through a long process, which will likely include an agent telling me to wait 6-8 weeks before i ask them to manually credit

Argh -- I forgot I had an MGM offer on my Plat (6,000 MR points) and just settled a bill at Bellagio with my SPG Amex.
