*** Limited time offer ***
Amex EveryDay 15000 MR points after $1000 in 3 months

The 15,000 MR points offer is still available via referral from someone who already has the card. See or ask for this in the discussion. Or look at the Amex referral page: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/amer...posting-3.html.

These are the direct links on americanexpress.com. I have not scoured the internet to seek better offers. Note that both offers include this standard language:

If we identify you as currently having an American Express Card account, you may not be eligible for this welcome bonus offer. This offer is also not available to applicants who have or have had this product.
Opening the application link in a Private or Incognito browser window, and not supplying any information about existing accounts, should prevent American Express from identifying you as currently having a card during the application process. They can still instantly determine this using your Social Security number, but in practice this may not occur.

Everyday Preferred (Groceries 3X, Gasoline 2X, General 1X; 50% bonus for 30 transactions in a billing cycle): - LINK

EARN 15,000 POINTS
Get 15,000 Membership Rewards points after you use your new Card to make $1,000 in purchases within the first 3 months.

EARN 10,000 POINTS

NO ANNUAL FEE
**You can now do a product change from AMEX Blue to the regular fee free AMEX EveryDay card. Unsure about other AMEX products that you can change TO the EveryDay card** This would probably preclude you from receiving any sign-up bonus, but moving from the Blue to this card is a + for some.

Use this calculator to work out whether you're better off with the preferred or regular card.

AmEx never has and likely never will allow you to do a product change from a charge card to a credit card.

The EDP has to raise it's bonus to somewhere close to 45k if they want to hope to be competitive with the CSP (40+5 AU added).

Looks like a pretty good card. I'll more than likely replace my PRG with this since the only real value of the PRG to me is the access to transfer points to airlines. I don't charge enough dollar wise or airfare to really take advantage. I'll be cancelling before my annual fee is due.

15,000 MR just posted approximately 2 business days after hitting 1k! So despite, "welcome bonus is only applicable for new applicants," I still got it while carrying a PRG at the time of approval.
Lucky you.

I met the spend of $1K on Monday. Transaction already posted dated April 14 Monday, but as of April 17 Thursday, no bonus in sight.

Hey- Is there a minimum amount per transaction for it to qualify for the 30 transactions?

Thank you so much.

Is everday card a charge card?

Got an offer for the everyday that offered a 25,000 membership rewards point sign on bonus with $2000 spend in first three months. Also included was 0% APR for the first 15 months. I am confused I though this was a charge card and you must pay everything due at end of each bill cycle. Am i mistaken and is this a credit card?

It's a credit card. I have to wait 2 months to increase my CL (I'm hoping it doesn't require a hard pull)

61 days to be exact. CLI's are soft pulls. Be careful as they soft you randomly. Don't want to have high UTIL when doing so. Or else... Denied.

After spending 10 days back and forth I was denied a second time for the No fee card.

750 credit score roughly on all 3 reports, quite a few inquires >19.

Recent house purchase last September, and two app o ramas since. Have a current Green card downgraded from a platinum.

Really makes no sense, basically saying the risk exposure is high. Never have missed a payment in my life... Only risky thing would be the credit inquiries.

Dumb...

Unlike the lucky folks who saw their bonuses posted within 2 business days from the day meeting spend, I still do not see the 10K bonus since meeting spend on Monday 4/14 after 4 biz days have passed, despite using the Incognito and the instant approval message welcome me to become an AMEX customer.

Anyone who has the No Fee version and also has existing AMEX personal cards have gotten their bonuses?

They may have looked at the total credit lines from ALL banks being available to you in comparison to your reported income. Given you have had a number of new cards in the past 6 months, you may have acquired quite a bit of credit lines that AMEX does not feel comfortable with.

Do we know what 50% means for this card?

If I have more than 30 pruchases, grocery spending gives me 4.5 points/$ or 3.5 p/$?

thanks

This question was last asked at post 358 and there is still not a definite answer because bonus points for the earliest accounts have not yet posted.
