Haven't seen any negative DP but from the timing, it's starting to look like (Aspire)...

Su 11/17: Select airline
Su 11/17: Purchase one-way flight, $118.30
Mo 11/18: Posts as ticket (PNR, name, date, ticket #, passenger ticket, xxx/jfk)
Fr 11/22: No change in meter
Fr 11/22: No reimbursement

May take a few days longer than what others have reported.

Su 11/17: Select airline
Su 11/17: Purchase one-way flight, $118.30
Mo 11/18: Posts as ticket (PNR, name, date, ticket #, passenger ticket, xxx/jfk)
Fr 11/22: Meter changed
Fr 11/23: Reimbursment Credited

Whoops, I had the wrong month. And, as of right now (but not this morning), the progress meter has changed.

Read through this thread and you will see data points of people getting automatic reimbursement for EMS seats, I'm unsure why my purchase didn't trigger it though.

My seats didn't get billed together, I paid for 3 and they were charged individually.
Did you eventually get reimbursed for the even more space seats or not? sometimes reinbursement takes time

Nope, nobody's ever tried it. Did you try reading this thread before posting?

Several people have. Check upthread for details. Yes it works. Just be sure to buy the EMS “upgrade” separately from the original ticket transaction.

Thanks for the info. I just changed my flight selection from AA to Jetblue, can I immediately purchase the ticket or would I need to wait? and if I book it together for two passengers would it be separate transactions or together? I read above it seems to be separate.

Yes, read my post #169 where I states it was done manually without a problem. This wasn't a matter of time, it was months later when I realized it hadn't triggered the credit when previously I'd always gotten it and after that I've gotten it automatically as well.

Yes you can purchase immediately within a second of the change completion. And yes they will be separate transactions. Just make sure to first book the tickets and pay without selecting even more seats and then go back into the reservation and select seats and pay.

My data point:
11/6 Purchased three basic economy one-way flights for $99, $99 and $88
11/7 Ticket purchases posted on my account. The transactions included all details (Ticket No, Passenger, Flight Origin-Destination)
11/9 $250 credit posted

Did you purchase these in separate transactions or on the same itinerary?

All were separate transactions. I wanted to keep per transaction charge under $150 and luckily all my one-way flights were under $100. If you check previous DPs, it suggests to keep the charge under $150 to trigger the credit.

Do you need to call in to refund to Travel Bank or it’s doable online?
