As of June 2017 gift certificates are no longer reimbursed. Link to buy gift certicates
According to this thread in the Alaska forum the reimbursement of Alaska Club memberships is no longer a problem. To see how much of your annual credit you've used, log in to AmEx, select the card in question, choose "Membership->Benefits" off the menu bar, scroll down to see the travel credit benefit. (with thanks to Lumpylump76)
Tickets cancelled within 24 hours are refunded back to the card used for the purchase.Tickets for travel dates > 60 days out can be deposited to your wallet when cancelled (this has not been true for some time). Change fees may apply depending on your status. Change fees are waived for MVP Gold and MVP Gold 75k members according to this page: https://www.alaskaair.com/content/mi...ID:MileagePlan (expand "service benefits" towards the bottom of the page). The wallet funds will expire one year after the issue date of the original ticket.

My recent experience is nothing gets automatically reimbursed for any sort of award fees, even if it's well under $100. That includes the $12.50 partner award booking fee that is billed separately. While I get the terms say award tickets are not eligible, from my experience having DL selected, award ticket taxes/fees under $100 get automatically reimbursed.
Also found the $125 change fee didn't get automatically reimbursed, which should be officially allowed unless I'm mistaken.

Is this the first instance of a ticket over $100 being reimbursed? I admit I've only been paying casual attention to this thread lately, but a quick scan shows no other reports.

Anyone have charges posting 12/13 reimbursed yet? I did a few across multiple cards that posted on 12/9 as a "test" that were all reimbursed by 12/13, but these 12/13 have yet to be credited, starting to worry now.. Benefits page does not reflect either this morning.

All sub $100. I must be really unlucky as one of the cards didn’t get reimbursed for 12/3 charges, tried again 12/9 which were successful, now 12/13 failed again. All three charges posted exactly the same way in the details as airline, ticket number, etc
Update: Guess I whined too soon, benefits section reflected the transactions around 10am PT, definitely wasn’t updated before then so there’s a DP on possible batch timing if anything

I applied $75 of AS GC to a $168 ticket to bring the price to $93. Then I put the $93 charge on my Aspire, charge posted a few days ago. Today I see that the credit reimbursed the $93 charge.

I plan to use my 2019 gold credit toward a change fee. Guess I'll have to call and fight for it. God forbid AMEX makes sure their reimbursement works for things that are actually covered by the terms before trying to block things that aren't.

Purchased several one-ways on my Aspire on Dec 16, for $79.21, $93.20, $118.20. I had just received the card (so $250 credits unused).
As one might have guessed, credits posted Dec 20 for $79.21 and $93.20, but not for the $118.20. Oh well, worth a shot.
