Reminder: you must enroll and select AS as your airline BEFORE making a reimbursable purchase. Click HERE to enroll.
As of June 2017 gift certificates are no longer reimbursed. Link to buy gift certicates
According to this thread in the Alaska forum the reimbursement of Alaska Club memberships is no longer a problem. To see how much of your annual credit you've used, log in to AmEx, select the card in question, choose "Membership->Benefits" off the menu bar, scroll down to see the travel credit benefit. (with thanks to Lumpylump76)
Tickets cancelled within 24 hours are refunded back to the card used for the purchase.Tickets for travel dates > 60 days out can be deposited to your wallet when cancelled (this has not been true for some time). Change fees may apply depending on your status. Change fees are waived for MVP Gold and MVP Gold 75k members according to this page: https://www.alaskaair.com/content/mi...ID:MileagePlan (expand "service benefits" towards the bottom of the page). The wallet funds will expire one year after the issue date of the original ticket.

So I looked up what was credited. Back in Feburary 2018 I was credited by Amex in the amount of ~$68 for flights on short destinations and then just put them in my wallet. Whats strange was that these were purchased tickets. In fact they even had the tickets origin and destination and they still reimbursed two days after the purchase. Here is what it was billed as:

Is there a quick way to search for those fares? Or do I just book a cheap fare and cancel if MVP Gold?

It's been over a week on two tickets for $55 and change each and still no credit (Amex Gold). I'm starting to worry at this point ...

Took about 5 days for the credit to appear after my $99 airfare purchase.

Seems as though their threshold for crediting things stops at $100. My flight from LAX-SEA for $88 was credited back, but my SEA-LAX for $131 was not.

I hope the sub $100 continues to hold true. As not MVP Gold or higher (cancel fare to put into wallet), I will just buy multiple one-ways for travel.

and did you use the app or a computer?
Also has anyone tried a gift card recently? i just got the aspire card yesterday and am MVP Gold so i can cancel flights and put them in my wallet, i just want to make sure if it appears the same on other people statements and if its the app or computer since that matters for like Delta. I also just had a friend pay for a checked bag so im asking them to let me know what their statement looks like so we can compare what actual fees look like vs the airline ticket.
Thanks!
