Yes, provided C or A space is available.

Just burned 4 BXP3's yesterday on a DFW-LHR R/T next week. Lots of C space available. ^

Can you wait-list BXP3 upgrade, like you can an SWU upgrade?

For those who have used BXP3s, do they clear like SWU's into C class for two-cabin and A class for three-cabin?

Does each flyer/employee have to register for this or just the admin for the business extra account?

EDIT: Just had an employee try to register and they got "You must be a registered Travel Manager to access this application." So I assume just the business has to register(?)

Correct - only the BE account that is being credited always has to register for the promotions.

employees may use any business extraa account that they're an employee of. You don't register as a traveler, just as an admin. There's no checking of an employee being "registered with a company at business extraa" before crediting the BE account, which is why sometimes I've had stray travel credit show up in my account activity; apparently someone gave the wrong BE number when they flew. It means you can credit to more than one account, I think, like company A for one trip, and company B for another.

Does BXP1 clear in front of stickers at the airport?

Yeah; being on the upgrade list with a BXP1 is the same as being on it with miles/copay or a SWU. You're above the sticker/UDU upgrades but below others using instruments with higher rolling EQDs.

And this is within your status level too, right? In other words Exp with stickers will still clear over a Plat with BXP1/miles+copay/SWU, correct?

i have 3200 BE points and as I don’t have lounge access, was thinking of redeeming for that.

I know now it’s probably not the best redemption rate but since I have Priority Pass but rarely get to use them because of the locations and terminals, I was thinking mah e an AC membership is a good value.

i mostly travel alone but like that if I were to fly Southwest (w the companion pass) having the true AC membership would still allow me to use their lounge even when not flying AA.

i used to have lounge access with the Prestige and while I don’t think the lounge is anything to write home about, I was thinking it’s an easy way of getting some minor perks.

I don’t want to get an AA card for it and honestly, I’d probably get an Amex for the centurion lounge if I had to. Just curious to see what you thought on the AC redemption? I realize a long flight upgrade would be better, but seem to be going back and forth with what to do.

Thx!

Always trying to figure out what to do with points before they expire. Now, I redeem all our BE points for AC memberships for my immediate family and have gifted Gold status once or twice. Maybe I'll give the upgrade awards a chance now that they are electronic.

If your upgrade doesn't clear ... what happens to your points?

If you redeem Business ExtrAA points for an international upgrade, and you waitlist for that upgrade, and your upgrade does NOT clear ... what happens to your BE points? Can you redeposit the award? Waitlist on your next flight? Does the award have an expiration date?
