hi FT Gurus,

My son is returning to boarding school this weekend and has to wait for four hours at T3 arrivals for the school coach to pick him up. I hear that the AA arrivals lounge is closed in T3? Any ideas where he could hang out instead? Is there a BA arrivals lounge at T3? He is OW Sapphire/PLT and inbound in Business class…

thanks!

BA's T5 Arrivals Lounge might be an option. I would check in the BA Forum if they allow that nowadays..Easy HEX ride from T3 to T5 and vice versa (for free).

There are some coffee shops in T3 arrivals

What time does his flight land? BA arrivals lounge closes at 2PM

Landside from T3 to T5 and VV is free on the Tube as well. He would need a to tap in and out using a ciontactless card but won't be charged.

Thanks Travelbear - I think he'll just have to stick it out at a coffee shop in T3 if BA closes at 2 - his flight gets in at 12:30. All good and thanks again to you and teemuflyer!

I flew in 2/18 on aa51 into T3. The wonderful arrivals lounge was open with plentiful showers and decent food. Wasn’t busy at around 7:30 am.

Heathrow AA Arrivals Lounge.... question

Curious....Say you fly AA from ORD -to LHR, business class on the 9ish AM departure 10:30ish PM arrival. Could you stay at airport hotel and access AA Arrival Lounge the next morning before heading into city? Or strictly for same day arrival? Anyone with experience? Ha! Yes, kinda ballsy!
