6' 0" - my feet fit - you just can't move them around. You have to sit straight up - you can pull them back so 1A can pass - but that is raising your feet on your toes. On exit row - I am used to sitting back and stretching my feet out under the seat in front.
On A319 1B or 1D - I stick my feet in the aisle - and obviously move them when the FA is passing by with cart etc.

I'm sure that I didn't have room to stretch out but honestly I didn't notice. I was comfortable for the whole flight. Exit row in an Airbus is fine for a short flight too (I find the Y seats too narrow in a boeing; airbus is just barely passable, but an extra half inch over top of that (like in an embraer) makes a huge difference. It's a shoulder width issue.

Sounds like you just don't like bulkheads? It's going to be worse in an economy bulkhead.
I'm not sure why you can't move them around. I get that you can't stretch all your way forward but that's going to be true in any bulkhead.
I'm sure that I didn't have room to stretch out but honestly I didn't notice. I was comfortable for the whole flight. Exit row in an Airbus is fine for a short flight too (I find the Y seats too narrow in a boeing; airbus is just barely passable, but an extra half inch over top of that (like in an embraer) makes a huge difference. It's a shoulder width issue.

EP perks question
Gave this a look around on the AA website and here - but answer is not too obvious...actually two answers...
1. How many people can I put on my reservation and ALL of them get three free bags. I've done 4 (total) - but what is the max?
2. As EP - I can use the "First Class" TSA line (I'm precheck, so I don't use it*) - can everyone on my reservation use the expedited First Class line (since they aren't all precheck)?
(Obviously, not every airport has a first class lane, but when they do...)

- *I did use it ONCE myself - as no one was in that line - and the precheck line had upwards of 100 people in it. Yes 100. Stopped counting at 100. That's just crappy. Well worth it to shed my shoes and yank out my laptop to avoid that 30 minute delay. Did not know I had that option until that moment.

I think we're getting closer - at my local airport, no airport employee checks the BP in the first class line - ya just walk right up to TSA. Sounds like the answer is "zero" guaranteed guests, and a YMMV situation for the rest.
My boarding pass always says EP - but it ALSO says "Priority" - as do all boarding passes on my reservation, regardless of status. Now I'm wondering which of these words got me thru the 1st class line - as
mentioned, seems unlikely TSA is keeping up with the elite status nomenclature of all airlines...

None of this has anything to do with the first class security line though. The gatekeeper of that line is not an AA employee and has no idea whether you are all on the same reservation or not. They get paid to allow first class and status passengers through (and that info is on the boarding pass). They are supposed to reject everyone else (whether they do in practice is a different question, if you say that you are traveling together)
I'm not sure why you think it's a different story on AS. The free checked bag elite benefit applies to everyone in your reservation on AS as well. And it's not like they are going to turn part of your party away from the priority check-in (sorry, sir, you can check in here, but your kids have to go wait in the long line)
