11/18 ORD-LAX I got water and I saw another passenger get wine. On my 11/14 flight LAX-ORD, I did get a PDB water, but I don't remember what other people ordered.

PHX to DFW to FLL and the return, we were offered water and juice on each flight. . .seems to be regular service now except if the flight is late and they are trying to rapid board or get out before weather turns sour.

AA2130 JAX-MIA: water, OJ, coffee
AA985 MIA-CLT: PDB of choice
AA5412 CLT-ATL: water only
Different on all three flights, what is the actual SOP or do they even have one?

BOS-PHX: No PDB offered.
PHX-LAS: No PDB offered. Wrote in to AA to complain about no PDB and was told "While we offer pre-departure beverages for our First and Business class customers, there are circumstances that may prevent our Flight Attendants from doing so. They use their discretion to determine if there is sufficient time – duties may limit their ability to serve beverages before departure."
Neither flight had delays that would have prevented the FA's from performing this service.

LAS-CLT: PDB offered, although this was one of the weirdest services I've had as an AA flyer. FA served my pre-selected meal first before everyone else, which was a bit of a surprise. Served everyone dessert from a cart after lunch, which was fine. About an hour before landing, they handed out the mixed nuts, then just before beginning descent, the hot towels.
CLT-BOS: PDB offered.
The standard is that there is no standard.

12/16/2023, AA679 DFW-JAX: No PDB (little boarding delay) but plenty of refills and great service in the air despite it being pretty bumpy the whole way.

3/8/23 AA10 LAX-JFK in Flagship Biz: Yes. Tray of OJ, Sparkling Wine, or Water
3/9/23 AA1831 JFK-MIA: No, and for no good reason. Perfunctory service in air
3/15/23 AA1863 CLT-DFW: Yes, open bar. Great service from a group of motivated FAs
3/15/23 AA941 DFW-ABQ: No, despite an on-time departure. Fine service in the air
3/18/23 AA2562 ABQ-PHX: Yes, open bar. Great service, even after a 2 hour delay that the crew had to wait out.
