N813AA flew to DFW last night and is currently back in service flying DFW-ORD.

I don't see any plane scheduled to fly up to PAE, but we should find out in the next 48 hours. N816AA is currently in SAT presumably for routine checks.

Do you think all retrofits will be done by Apr 30? I was hoping to score PE seat on my LHR ORD flight. Maybe I should waitlist to get upgraded to J.

By April 30th, at the rate of the retrofits, all 788s flying most likely will be fitted with PE. There may be 1 or 2 in the shop. Only a few left to be refitted and they are doing two birds every two weeks.

They'll definitely be completed by then, probably no later than mid-April. There's now only 3 aircraft flying without PE and 1 of those should go in some time next week.

Really pleased they are doing this one quickly. It is always a bother when equipment changes and people get moved in different seats and they want to sit together and they want to face backwards etc etc. Amazes me folks are still reserving seats in rows 6 and 7, I guess they are not Frequent Flyers.

Now all I need is monkey wrench to tighten up the seat rockers.

so will they start selling PE as soon as the last bird is out of the shop? I just want to make sure I keep my MCE at least. Maybe I should move to row 10 in case my upgrade doesn’t clear.

Doubtful IMO (but I'm open to other opinions).

AA90 ORD-LHR morning departure daytime flight is a 788 and shows no PE for purchase until May 2nd. That's been the case for a while now.

In addition to the selling of PE seats, they also have to coordinate the new service as well for food, beverage, etc. so I bet they have a fixed date in early May and will stick with it. JMHO.

aa 46 and aa 86 already have PE, so I think there is not much to coordinate in terms of crew training and catering.
Does anyone remember if PE seats went on sale next day when all 772 were refitted for LHR-RDU route?
