Is there currently a promo for redemptions on EY? My partner booked an award ticket for BOM-AUH-DFW in J. He was quoted 70K miles, but was charged 63K miles (a 10% discount). I booked BOM-AUH-DFW-YYZ also in J and was quoted/charged 75K miles. Wondering if there is something I forgot to sign up for.
TIA

Yes he does, and being from Canada I didn't know such a thing existed and he didn't remember that he had this benefit.

May not be necessary out of ORD for Business (I didn't check his dates prior to posting), however given that it is still necessary for some routes out of JFK (especially in First) and assuming the OP knew what he was doing - never hurts to search all routes this way given how flakey EY can be on showing availability based on different searches.
Thanks.

EY does not have an award category called "Business Saver". AA's saver awards correspond to EY GuestSeats. This is all clearly explained within the first few lines of the wiki.

This is a most peculiar series of posts. AUH-BOM is freely available for those dates. As for award change rules, you can find them on AA's web site.

EY website is showing me 4 seats available in Guest Business.
But AA australia is only able to see 2.
Any other way to get them to see the seats?

Won't hurt to try US office, first. I just booked IAD-AUH-MLE, return, in business this October, via US call center. Great agent. I was in shock when she what I saw.

For whats its worth, I just booked AUH-JFK a few days ago in First. (2) Seats showing on Etihad:
Called US Office - Couldn't see the seats (no surprise)
Called Australia Office - Also couldn't see the seats
Called NZ Office - Was able to book no problem

Finally I was able to book 3 buss tickets by calling us office. I never found 3 seats before but now I can see 2-5 guest seats available Is EY throwing more award seats now?
