Just made EXP / Executive Platinum! Resources, ask questions, brag (2017+)
First, a hearty welcome to Executive Platinum status!
New Executive Platinum members, whether "self-made", via your Concierge Key nomination or made by AA offers, including challenges, to similar status holders from competing airlines, often have questions about how the program works.
Feel free to post your questions here, but also be aware many of your questions about American Airlines, AAdvantage and Executive Platinum status can be answered in these resources:

My cards for last year's requal finally arrived as well. Cards + tags all indicate million miler status.

Re-qualified a week ago! Might hit a half million miles this year... Would be cool to be a million miler before I turn 23

With that kind of spend per 100,000 EQM and 500,000 maybe they'll extend you a Concierge Key invitation?

Qualified for EXP for the first time this week.
Unsure how to use these award points for international travel, but will start looking.
Thanks to everyone here on Flyertalk for the tips.

Crossed the line halfway through the year - on July 2 - despite the best efforts of the Madrid passport check to prevent me from making my flight. Mostly earned through partner flights to Asia this year - Qatar, Qantas, and British Airway.

Requalified yesterday on PNS-DFW-LAX.
EQD: 12,200
EQM: 102,000
SWU already posted. Will hit 20000 EQD and over 200000 EQM this year. Mostly due to QR cheap business fares out of SE Asia. (Couple of the QR DPS-BOS ones).
