As of today (October 5) AA agent was able to see availability in both business and first
for various dates all the way till Nov 3rd. DFW-AUH is what I checked. Beyond that I was told there was only coach availability even though the Etihad site shows "Guest" space.

So still looking like ~30 days out it starts to open up.

I called the US center, looking for close in (within 3 weeks) from AUH to JFK, and they couldn't see anything but coach.

I think JFK availability might be limited due to the fact that its the A380?

I'm having this same problem with AUH to JFK, called US, Australia, New Zealand. Same thing, they can only see coach.

Seems we have a very recent report (within past 3 weeks) where the author of the post linked below was able to have AA see 2 out of 5 AUH-JFK flights. He even states in the comments to that article (linked below) that it isn't a problem for the AUH-JFK route. Has anyone else found this to be the case? I thought both AUH-JFK and JFK-AUH both weren't working?

I think the "2 out of 5" was for E, not J or F. I think his "no problem" comment (in response to my comment) may have also been referring to E. Or he was just stating what had been the "norm" thinking it still applied. Who knows.

I really don't think he found actual F saver availability AUH-JFK. It's ultimately rather unclear though.
