Let's hope things begin to improve and if not we continue to press the FA's to follow company policy.

So there you have it.

@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG No #PDBServed
@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG Full #PDBServed
@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG Limited #PDBServed

This allows all PDB service to be posted, good, bad, and otherwise. This should show AA that we feel this is a desired service. Maybe if someone gets energetic, a summary post could be done, maybe weekly?

I don’t know which is funnier, being unequivocally advised whether I did or didn’t have a pdb, assuming that it’s the PMAAs, that I’m confused about something, or the people that ‘liked’ the comments.

If this is a private discussion, sorry for intruding.
No need to be "sorry" about intruding. But, if you have done any recent and frequent flying on both UA and AA, you'd know the significant difference between those two carriers when it comes to the PDB experience.

1141 SNA-ORD, full PDB by excellent FA
1568 ORD-SNA. tray of water and OJ (no ice) offered. I asked for a G&T, and was told "I'm not doing those now". This cabin crew was completing a SNA-ORD-SNA turn, so she was probably already tired after working a 3 hour flight.

Hey, thanks. Maybe the issue isn’t that I’m talking out of the wrong end. Maybe, those are my experiences. I didn’t hear any questions, just righteous flaming. Yes, I have travelled both recently and frequently enough to be exp. Less so on UA.

I’ll leave the thread to the “real” ff’ers.

2791 DFWMCO Friday 10AUG.
Originally scheduled at 6:34. Delayed due to mechanical. New gate. New plane. New departure 8:20. Everyone boarded by 8:20. Delayed due to issue with one seat. Mechanic arrives at 8:45. Seat inoperable. Door closes. Door opens. Captain: “Neither my copilot or I checked the fuel. We don’t have enough. So we’ve called for a fuel truck.” [This was truly said by the captain over the PA.]

We ultimately depart at 9:25. PDB is a tray of waters so at least something

8/13 AA 1537 RDU-ORD MD-80: No PDB. This flight is always delayed 15-20 minutes due to a tight turn around on the inbound and because of that I rarely get a drink on it.

8/13 AA696 LAS-PHL A321: After an inbound aircraft delay of more than 5 hours, Full PDB even though catering had not yet arrived (!) but every effort was made for the first few that got it with the leftover inbound stock (first- and second-choice orders) and then a full offering as catering came mid-way through, and a refresh/replace offered to those that went first. (PMUS crew if there was any doubt)

AA2240 DFW-SEA 13AUG - Choice of water, water or water when we were done boarding 10 mins prior to pushback. Super lAAzy senior crew who were terrible the entire flight. Watched the #1 do her crossword puzzle and enjoy her lunch on the front J/S while never making an appearance in the cabin for well over an hour because she was too busy with her newspaper and feeding herself.

Somebody pinch me, full PDB to Chicago? I thought I must be on UA for a moment. Ordered a Voodo Ranger since they’re disappearing on 1Sept. Great way to start 10 days of vacation; thanks AA!
