I wouldn’t of cared except my flight left from TBIt
You need to send an email to QANTAS about it. The same thing happened a couple years ago, and enough people complained, and QANTAS had to retrain their agents.

Denied entry (to First Class Lounge) as OWE with F ticket on AA. New rule says only QF pax until 10pm. Too tired to argue and left. Business Class lounge also turned me away because "there's a lounge in T4 that AA uses".

Alright then.

I am not sure to understand.... the new access rules restrict AA pax to access the F lounge based on class of travel or that that aply also to Aa pax wanting to access the F class lounge based on Emerald (except aadvantage members) status? I am a BA GGL and flying AA out and through Lax next week....

If you are British Airways GGL, and you have an onward Oneworld flight that day or before 6:00am the following day, you'll have access to the Flagship Lounge in Terminal 4 or the Qantas F Lounge at the Tom Bradley International Terminal.

Unless the Qantas Lounge decides otherwise and starts making up their own rules. Just be prepared to be denied if it's too busy, as you're not a QF elite.

This is not clear.

Were you on a defined "International" itnerary or travelling in First on AA to JFK on a three class aircraft?

Then as an AA EXP access should have been permitted.

Yeah I am aware of that. However, the QF lounge seems to put up their own rules recently. Whether it's not properly trained staff, or attempts to reduce the crowd or disputes with AA - who knows. Unfortunately it's not the first time this has happened. The 10pm excuse is new tho.

I was in J going LAX -> LHR on AA on Tuesday, and I (EXP) and a guest (no status) had no trouble accessing the Qantas First Lounge for five hours during the middle of the day.

I suppose that's possible. I was just there three weeks ago.......Friday evening about 8:30pm. The place was crazy busy, with every table in the dining room taken and a line had formed for available tables. I received access, with my AA boarding pass.

I was at the Qantas F lounge last week for the 193 and was given access as an EXP though the lounge was crowded

Was there last week around 6PM flying LAX-SFO (purely domestic itinerary no international connect) and had to issue accessing with my QF WP card. Lounge is pretty quiet this time of the day.
