Does this mean I can sign up, booked family trips and put the same Business code into each reservation and get additional points?

I manage the BusinessExtrAA for a little charitable non-profit where I'm on the board and get friends and colleagues to contribute points to our account as well as volunteers to the group. Then we use the points to further the goal of the charity without having to pay for all of the tickets that might be needed.

Business ExtrAA Booking Codes
Hello all,
I was just looking into a couple of Business ExtrAA upgrade awards and noticed there is no mention of what code they book into. I'm assuming the international upgrades book into C and A, and the domestic upgrades book into A as well? Is that correct?
Finally, would y'all consider using 650 point domestic upgrade on a BOS-LAX transcon being a 'good use' of the award?
Thanks for your help,
Matt W.

The upgrade is probably worth it... in my mind 650 points isn't that hard to come by. Then again, it all depends on your Business Extraa activity. For me, 650 isn't many points... but for you it may be a lot.
Is BOS-LAX a good use of the upgrade? Well, the 650-point reward is only for North American travel, and BOS-LAX is one of the longer domestic routes, so I'd say it's a pretty good use of the reward. If you're smart, book yourself on a 763 so you can actually appreciate the upgrade. (IMHO, an upgrade on a 757 is barely worth it... might as well be in an exit row in Y... Of course if you're a rabid drinker, the free booze in F may make it worth it, I guess.)
Problem is that you have to read the fine print. Business Extraa upgrade awards won't work if you booked a discount ticket.
To quote: "Fare basis codes starting with N, O, Q or S are not eligible for this upgrade."

Yes, domestic upgrades book into A inventory. I recently used a BXP1 to upgrade, re-checked the A inventory right after confirmation, and boom, it had gone down.
The BXP1 was worthless with 24 hour confirmation, but has value (except for EXP's) now that you can confirm 30 days prior. They're especially worthwhile for non-status pax, but a transcon is definitely the best use if you're gold/plat and comparing the upgrade value to the cost of stickers. For example, my upgrade was BOS/SFO on a "G" fare, $55 more than the lowest (N) I could have bought, and 6 stickers is $180 worth. I saved $125 cash, and guaranteed the upgrade, which as a Gold, who knows. Maybe J on a 767 would be better than F on a 757, but I'll be enjoying triple miles, so more than happy with what I'm getting.

Confirmed upgrades 30 days in advance have value for EXPs.

I meant a BXP1 has no dollar value you can calculate for EXP's. They don't need stickers to upgrade, so there's no potential savings vs. sticker cost. Not saying it couldn't be worth it for the peace of mind, even if you pay a higher fare to use it, but that depends on the individual.

Business ExtrAA points not posting ?
Does anyone have problems with Business ExtrAA points not posting ?
about 50% of the time my points don't post, it's such a hassle to go through and keep checking. Any ideas how to make it easier?

Mine haven't been either, at least not in a timely fashion (6-8 weeks later). So every couple of months I request all tickets that haven't posted. Then it takes them 6-8 and they do it manually.

My last BusinessExtraa points posted on May 18. I flew a lot since then, especially LAX-BOS (and I used the triple points promotion). Should I call? I've never had points not post before, but I have waited several weeks in the past.
I'm pretty close to the reward I think I want (1 yr AC membership), and the sooner the points post, the sooner I'm sitting in an AC.

Points posted on the 18h of each month, although I believe they posted a day or two later on at least one month.
