I was just looking into a couple of Business ExtrAA upgrade awards and noticed there is no mention of what code they book into. I'm assuming the international upgrades book into C and A, and the domestic upgrades book into A as well? Is that correct?
Finally, would y'all consider using 650 point domestic upgrade on a BOS-LAX transcon being a 'good use' of the award?

That depends on what else you might spend the 650 on. Do you have an earn rate that would give you something else before the points expire? Additionally, you should consider the price difference in going to a valid fare (N, O, Q or S are not valid for the upgrade). I would also consider whether I think I have a good chance upgrading on "stickers" (Or as EXP)
I believe they would book the same as mileage/vips
