Does anyone know if bulk/agency fare qualifies for points?
I looked through the terms and nothing in it prohibits bulk fares.

How often are the points posted? I've a couple flights in Feb and they're still not listed.

I know before it seems like you had to wait until the end of the quarter for all 3 months to appear.... however my JAN flights 2010 are posted
Below is what the website says....
Business ExtrAA Points
3. Members will earn one Point for every $10 of eligible Flown Revenue during a given calendar month. Each month, American will calculate a member's Flown Revenue and determine the number of Points earned by such member.
Interesting... i might shoot an email and ask...

I find only about half or fewer of my flights post. I've never done anything about it though, so I really should not complain.

I find the same thing. Between the inconsistent posting and the significant time lag on posting, it is a royal pain in the behind. They have been pretty good about posting the base points on flights that don't post initially, but have been unwilling to post promo points for flights that they couldn't manage to post automatically.

I noticed the latest promo BXACT has this in the T&C:
Promotional bonus points do not qualify for tickets submitted for retro-credit processing.

I had to fight for my FALLFREE bonus recently since my qualifying flights didn't post automatically but they finally gave me the 2000 points. I gave up on ASIA2009 since it only amounted to 100 or so points for me.

Do the promo points appear as a seperate transaction? or will just appear part of the total under BASE per segment?

I also had to fight for the Fall Free bonus points as they said since my flights had to be manually posted retroactively, they weren't going to give me the bonus. I would say that with Business Extra 75% of my international flights never post because of the way AA processes VIP's by re-issuing tickets with new ticket numbers. Most times when a reissue is done, they forget to re-enter the Business Extra number on the new reissued ticket. Compounded with the huge time lags in Business Extra postings, it is a huge pain to try to get flights posted with them.
