Looking an awards ticket for uly 2016 LAX to DFW on Biz Class. (seems like all the cabins will be in first class)

I have choices of either 763, 32B , M80 ,or 738. Which would be the best aircraft

Take the 763, you may or may get the new flat J seat-albeit its a rather short flight.

Saw a 788 scheduled for DFW-LAX on Nov 17, 9pm-ish flight. Didn't investigate further.

In addition to the list, there is actually a 332 doing CLT-BOS-CLT runs again this year - on at least a handful of dates I was looking at in Feb.

I'm sure this has been asked but I'm not finding a terribly clear answer.

Flying an economy fare as an AA Gold on DFW-ORD on 2/14 which happens to be a 3-cabin 777 being sold as a domestic 2-cabin. I'm able to pick the business class cabin via the seat selection so pretty happy with that!

Wondering though, can I apply 500-mile upgrades to it to be upgraded into First? Honestly, I've never even used my 500-mile upgrades and would hate to see a glitch occur where I request the upgrade and still end up in business (which I'm NOT complaining about).

Again, apologies for not finding a clear answer on this. My google-fu is failing me this morning!

use your stickers now...you're certainly not going to mess anything up.

If your upgrade clears, you'll be in first. hurry up and put in your request, as it's based on time of request. You'll be after all Exec Plats and Plats clear, and after all Golds who have already requested. Safe to say the odds are slim you'll get it, but you never know! Good luck and enjoy. Business seats are nice even if you don't clear (although it's just economy class service).

Thanks for the quick reply!

Here's hoping a relatively early Sunday morning flight works in my favor but definitely won't be complaining either way.

MIA - SFO to get 772/77D?

I noticed a bunch of new fares JFK/SFO include the following provision:

OR
THE FARE COMPONENT MUST INCLUDE TRAVEL BETWEEN MIA AND
SFO ON
ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING
ANY AA FLIGHT
ON BOEING 777.

Which as far as I can tell, does not currently exist. A relic of something past? Or foreshadowing new service? Would love to have lie flats and more J/F on this underserved route... currently J cabins practically always zeroed out weeks in advance.

I didn't see this on the list, but I have an upcoming ORD -> DFW on a 3-class 777, Flight 2334. Old school cabins, but we're booked into F due to our inbound JL F booking. I've never flown this AA F cabin, so I'm looking forward to it.
