Anyone having problems going to the AA.com site via the app? For example if I try to change my seats via the app the page just shows the loading circle and never loads. Tried it on different networks (wifi, Bluetooth), turning phone off and on etc but to no avail.

I am having the same problem after the iPhone App upgrade.

I've not been able to change my seat on the mobile app. If I'm not near a desktop or tablet I have to call the EXP desk if I want to change my seat on an upgrade.

I'm having the same problem... Can't pull up the seatmap on the iPhone app and change my seat regardless of upgrade clearing already or not.

It's been a while, but I think once you are added to the standby list, there will be a colored (green if I remember) bar at the bottom of the screen that will take you to the list. You might have to be on the flight status page. This is of course the standby list and not the upgrade list.

Not showing *any* itineraries
Is anyone else experiencing this? On both my iPad and iPhone, both of which are iOS 4.2.1, the AA app doesn't ever show any of my itineraries. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app, doing a factory reset and reloading from a backup. The app loads, logs in, shows me my mileage balance, but the "my Flights" tab shows "loading" for a minute, then says "You currently have no flights on file." The web site shows me a long list of my reservations.

just updated the app on my iphone and now it sends me a notification every 30 minutes about my flight even though nothing has changed. i had to delete the app as it was wearing down my battery and is pretty annoying.

I've been getting these notifications all day for my evening flight. Does anyone know how to turn them off?

It is not the AA app. It is the passport app that is not imbedded into the ios software. When I clicked on the notification, it pulled up a menu and one of the options was to turn off "display on home (or lock) screen" I think that did the trick. |
If you're not using the Passport app on your iPhone, turn off Passport notifications! (in the Settings Notifications menu).
|
Thanks. I turned those notifications off and hopefully that'll do the trick. Passbook was helpful with my boarding pass - no need to take a picture of the pass in the app since it automatically shows in passbook (without worrying about a connection to pull it from the app).

why are you still using iOS 4.2.1? Upgrade to iOS 5.1

I too cannot view any of my itineraries. I called the 1800 number on the support icon listed. I spent 20 minutes on hold to be told by AA web support that they don't have.....web support for this app?
